this thing is not bad at all. extremely accurate voltage adjustment, and the wattage rating lives up to it's rating, and could easily run an HP mini PC with 12 being converted up to 20, and, unlike other ones rated for a lower wattage, this convertor does not squeal or make any noise at all under load. from what i have tested so far, it doesn't get that hot either.

These are pretty useful. They offer nice tight control and are fairly repeatable. One issue I found with one of mine, one of the screws affixing a MOSFET to the heatsink was tight but did not clamp the MOSFET properly. I was able to fix the issue. But, it would have overheated without a fix.
