Very useful. Great quality. Works.
3 rock chips per window but at $70 in my area thats insane. If you drive 120 miles a day on bad cali highways this is a very useful and extremely easy to use tool. I dont buy the resin they sell as I simply buy the $10 walmart similar kit that includes resin. I have used the rain x resin 4 times with this metal kit and it works just as the original they recommend to get. Save more money and get the rain x kit and use that resin, same thin liquid material used for injecting into glass. Overall the shaft on this is stainless and the only thing that is aluminum is the plate holding the resin and the suction cup. Outstanding quality and very good. The pressure from the stainless piston while injecting the resin into crack is indication that you are using it properly, 8 year old can do this so don't stress it. I did my first rock chip and it disappeared and only the hole I made with the dremel is visible but crack was filled just as a window repair guy would do. First time with excellent professional results. One tip, dont use heat or you will discolor the laminate, simply take your time and allow glue to inject itself. Suction cup is stupid strong so you will be glad you spend your money on this kit. I could have found this on alibaba way cheaper but i needed it now so I paid the price. Shop around and look for similar if this is on the high aide but all i will say is this kit here is outstanding quality and worth the US dollar vs paying a repair man. Works as intended and all parts are very great quality.

Bought for a 2015 Porsche Turbo S
I got a pretty significant rock chip very close to the edge on my windshield for my Porsche, so close to the edge that a '4-suction cup' repair kit just wouldn't work due to not being able to get all 4 cups to effectively seal to even start the repair. Almost all windshield repair kits are the 4-suction cup design as I'm assuming most of you know if you've gone looking for repair kits. It took me some time to find this one and it worked perfectly for my application needs....one suction cup that allows a repair basically any where on your windshield. Granted the pricing is relatively high but in this case, you pay for what you get for unique repair situations. Plus it beats the heck out of what repair companies were asking to repair, or actually replace the windshield since their repair pricing was just slightly less than a full replacement. This includes Safelite who wouldn't even come to my home to replace, had to take my car to one of their shops if I wanted them to do it. They even told me to expect to wait for them to replace between 2-3 hours. After a few chose words for them, I decided to repair the break myself with this tool and it did a great job. Needless to say, Safelite can KMA along with all their commercials that I now know are full of BS! Highly recommend this tool...

Quality is meh
My biggest complain with this bridge is that the orings wear out so fast you might as well put a new set on every other time you have the plunger threaded out of the thing. Have it in and out more than 3-4 times and they are shot. The inside of the bore must be extremely rough because it wears the orings down so rapidly that it creates black rubber flecks which end up in the resin. I will try switching to better quality orings but even if it's just the orings, you'd think for this price you would get a decent quality oring?
