For a long time I did not notice the ticking of clocks. Then I began wearing hearing aids. TICK TICK TICK TICK is enough to make someone who likes quiet put the clock in a drawer! This is a beautiful timeless clock, easy to read across the room and it does not disturb the silence.

Big enough to see across the room but not huge. Very stylish.
