I was really impressed. Page turner. Iron Man in a thoughtful way. I did kinda hate his girl tho. Realistic. I have most of Grell's green arrow stuff in the stack, it's high time I pull it out

It's fantastic art. This has the arc where Tony reveals he's Iron Man by saving a dog.

I’m something of a pedant when it comes to my trade paperback collection and especially my Iron Man books - but thankfully this hits all the right notes and I’m stoked with it. Cheers!

I came to this for Mike Grell rather than Iron Man and I was really pleased with the book. If you've read Mike Grell comics you can expect to find the same kind of humanist, masculine hero who is at odds with his career. That Marvel was willing to give this a shot is a point in their favor. The best issues are the ones drawn and written by Grell.
