Easy Install , look great
The installation is pretty easy. If you go through the wheel well by removing the wheel and most of the pins/ clips holding the wheel well liner on. To have the fog lights/ Daytime Running lights come on in the daytime though you need to have your headlights and fog lights on, or I found out turning parking lights on and fog lights on they will also be on. Which is what I do in the daylight hours. I did also add some yellow tint on the fog lights and some clear ppf over the tint to protect them from road debris jacking them up. Took me about 2 hours to do the full installation but since I had my front wheels off I went ahead and took the rear tires off to do a full wheel rotation. And make sure you torque the lug nuts to 129 foot pounds. Would not want a wheel flying off from not having the proper torque.

Not good
You have to cut wires to install this unit, I definitely would not want to do that, It’s more simple to just plug in. So I ordered a different one

Not perfect, didn’t have the correct connector
2023 Model Y. Started on the left, no problems at all. Kept the tire on and I have the 21” tires. Got the right side apart and installed the light. The connector was wrong and I couldn’t clip it together. I ended up jumpering wires after figuring out how 3 stock wires, black, blue and Yellow connect to a red and black. Figured it out with a meter, but shouldn’t have had to do this. If you’re wondering what the yellow wire hooks to, it’s the yellow wire on your side repeater camera. Don’t hook to the camera wire by mistake. You get ZERO instructions with this. Good luck!

Where does the yellow wire go?
I really like these lights now that they are installed. It took me and my buddy who’s a retired auto body mechanic 4 hours. Maybe we took too much off the car but we couldn’t figure out where the long yellow wire went to tie into the turn signals. Checked on YouTube and they were all vague about it as well. So just on a hunch I told my buddy let’s try to tap it from the relay turn signals in the fender. And there it is. I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture of the wires, but it’s the light grey on the larger connector, have a test light on hand. Don’t mess with the single black wire that’s your camera dedicated cable. But all said and done I think they are worth the money and the labor. But in my humble opinion it’s a 2 person job. If anyone has any questions about this please let me know.

Sexy signals
These are a fantastic product. The packaging is very strong. The lights feel very high quality. Install was pretty easy. Mine had 1 connector the clipped in,(which was for the fog lights), and a single wire that controlls the sequential turn signal(which ia the yellow wire). Just connect it to the turn signal in the fender. You have to take the tire off and remove the cover for the wheel well. Took me 15 mins each side. There are a couple youtube videos. I'm so happy about the upgrade. Gives individuality without breaking the bank.

Drl
Drl doesn't work during the day driving. Only works at night. Doesn't make sense. Drl stands for "daytime running lights"
