Make sure you remove opener from cap before you completely open your bottle. Otherwise it may get stuck.

I shopped the pages here for this item, some priced higher than others, they looked exactly alike and so I selected the cheapest one ($5.00) and waited for its arrival... I've got arthritis and so bottle caps are a particular challenge. Got the parcel and tried the opener right away, works like a charm it's always nearby as I drink 2 or 3 bottles of water every day; it also helps to tighten those bottle caps back on. Worked as shown to open a jar of pickles by releasing the vacuum seal, very easy to do; ditto for cans of soda, so easy.Great simple product, excellent stocking stuffer, or for anyone that you know is suffering from arthritis. This is a real good way to spend just $5 and know that you've made a difference in the quality of someone's day to day life.

The opening for bottle tops is smaller than some other tools like this that were less expensive by half. The other ones are identical except for the bottle top opening which is larger and accommodates more types of twist-top bottles (water, soda, juice, etc)

She was breaking off all her fingernails when she tried to open pop lids, and now she no longer has to bring her cans to me to open. She now opens everything with this. It is also not too big, and it is built VERY sturdy. I suspect that it will last a long time.I took off one star under the feature: "Easy to Use" only because I can't use the thing. I've tried and tried, and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. But I did buy it for her, and it works FANTASTIC for her. So, hey, it does what it's supposed to do.

I was somewhat disappointed in this tool. It is plastic and the printed directions are too tiny to read. Seems awkward to use. I was hoping for something easier and stronger

This little thing here is a life saver. I have Fibromyalgia which causes severe pain to my joints, muscles and makes my nerves go bonkers. When it got to that very frustrating point when I couldn't even open a bottle of water on my own, I went on a search for an easy to use bottle opener. This opener Is awesome! My main need was a bottle opener but I love the added bonus of it being multifunctional and the extra bonus is that I found it in the colors I wanted to match my kitchen. I recommend this opener in general and Especially to those who suffer with any medical issues that effects the hands.

Probably my fault I did not read it as just a jar, bottle opener and bought them hoping they would open pop tops of cat food cans but it is too thick to reach between the metal tab and the lid to pry them open to use as an aid for thumb tendonitis. Have no other use for them as I don't open bottles and don't know anybody who does. Back to the screw driver, tho it tends to walk away!
