Cyanide & Happiness is a strange little online comic that regularly breaks the forth wall and makes dark puns about self-mutilation, random acts of violence, murder, and sexual deviancy. It somehow manages to do this while staying fairly unserious and "light-hearted" in an extremely dark comic. The crude art actually helps play against tone. A few of the strips are lack luster and some of the "meta-gags" are done better elsewhere, but it is enjoyable.

If you love to combine laughter with despair, Cyanide and Happiness perfectly accomplishes this.The old comics were well chosen and the new, unreleased selection utterly fail at disappointing.The "Interactivities for children and slow adults" likewise follow the pattern of hope-crushing lightheartedness.They can easily keep a reader entertained for hours, provided that the reader has a child-like mind. If not, they will provide minutes of light fun that you can relive just by flipping through the pages over and over.This book is all that it is advertised as and all that it tries to be. If you are a fan of the webcomic, just buy it already. It's not that expensive.

Yeah, this is dark, silly, exceedingly off the wall, and an abuser of puns. That being said, I laughed too much.

I love Depressing Comic week from C&H every year! I think that a book devoted only to that type of comics might me too much. I found myself reading through most of them without even chuckling. The quality of the printing is definitely better (the first book they released came with a couple of badly printed pages). If you're a fan of the site, I recommend getting this book. And I was so glad when I saw it was part of the Kindle Matchbook program so you can get the digital version for really cheap!

I chose this book to have a little laugh. I had the previous book several years ago and I thought this would be a great add on to the mini series. I didn't really find the jokes too funny because they were mainly potty humor or some jokes that weren't necessarily working for me. Some jokes did get to me though.

This is a fantastic book. Buy it! Buy it now!No, I don't get commission for selling this, however it has given me and my friends and family such a good laugh that I feel the need to share the wonder and crazy witty banter held within this illustrative delight. If you've seen their cartoon on youtube you'll know what you're in for. If you haven't, it can seem a little TOO outrageous at times but stick with it, believe me. The writers are fantastic.Great gift for cheeky lads and ladies who can take some very politically incorrect jokes. Just brilliant :o)

I'm a huge fan of the C&H comics online, as is my Girlfriend (the person who I bought this for). If you are happy with just looking a these online then you may not want to bother with this. But as a gift or just something nice to flick through it is excellent. The book is very well presented, a lovely cover and the pages are excellent quality. The new comics are up to the same standard as the online ones and a nice addition into the book, but my favourite part is the 'activity' section in the back of the book, which had us both in stitches with plenty of ridiculous (and offensive) material.Overall, this is a great buy for any fan of the comics, or for introducing someone new to the series, and at £7 its a snip!

Just like the first volume. From the profane, to the somewhat offensive to the out-and-out obnoxiousness of a lot of the strips. Expect no deep thinking and no lessons learned. Do expect a good belly laugh though.For people with a depraved, twisted sense of humour. Expect nothing clean and definitely keep away from sensitive folk

The delivery on this was quick so I was pleased, I love cyanide and happiness comics, probably the best I've seen for something that looks so simple. If you want some quick laughs then definitely buy this, you will not be disappointed! It also has a couple of hidden little jokes in there so watch out!

Love Cyanide and Happiness, it never fails to make me laugh, If you have a random humour this is the book for you and the great thing is.. theres that many, when you go to read it again you forgot about them and laugh all over again, this book has done it's rounds and nobody has had a bad word to say about it ;)
