This teleprompter is a great tool for content creation or informative videos. The set up was easy and quick. The video quality is good it displays your script on your cellphone or tablet and it has a remote control in which you can control the speed and accuracy of your script. The screen provides great picture quality with very good reflection and the tray holder on the front allows you to place your mobile device directly in front of the camera lens so it doesn't look like the person is reading. The hood covers your camera lens well and it keeps the light from coming in. The teleprompter frame and base is Aluminum which makes it sturdy and strong and it has lots of adjustments from the height to the size of the device holder tray. However, I should mention that depending on your camera set up you will probably need a good video tripod that can hold the weight around 15 to 17 lbs. Otherwise you can go through what I went through that my camera set up was leaning forward due to the weight of the rig. Neewer has a very good affordable video tripod that does a great job holding the weight of the teleprompter and camera set up with ease. That's my recommendation, but overall this teleprompter is a great product. I highly recommend it. 👍

I produce a lot of educational videos that need to have relatively precise scripts. I have used this teleprompter so much over the last year that I've had it sooo I can definitely give this a fair review. I didn't end up using the app that is suggested because the Teleprompter app has way more features, so I used that. I couldn't get the remote to pair up nicely but I don't care. I just tap the screen and make the adjustment easily with the app I'm using and it's not a pain for me. The glass quality is not poor like another reviewer mentioned. Maybe it's because I am not shooting LOG typically (I don't need to for the short-form education videos I'm creating). I shoot 4k 30fps H265 (SDR). However! Any reviews mentioning how it doesn't grip your tablet firming are correct, haha... I don't mind since I'm shooting indoors and not being aggressive with my phone (yes I use a phone), but it could easily slide over. That said, I do use my iPhone 15 Pro Max and it works great with the teleprompter app I use. A tablet being larger might topple more easily than a phone anyway. Overall: - Great value - Easy to use with any device - Comes with a nice case that keeps it compact (I've even traveled and packed this into a suitcase and it was protected in its case and foam) - Glass good quality - Can use with a larger phone (like iPhone 15 Pro Max) easily - Remote was useless, so was their app: use alternative teleprompter app instead

This was way better made than I had anticipated. I used with a Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra 4K webcam, (not a DSLR) and works great! Just incase anyone is wondering if will work with a non-traditional camera set up, it does. Now I had gotten the Neewer overhead desk live broadcast rig pole, it did not work with it. The parts were compatible, however the arm could NOT support the weight. No biggie, I had tripod and set it up on it. Like I said, it’s pretty heavy duty, just have something ready to support the weight. Worked out anyway, I used the arm for a fill light. I saw a lot of complaints about the app that comes with it, but I really liked it. I haven’t put my own scripts on it yet, but the remote pared easy and quick, and worked perfect to adjust the speed, and size of the text, as well as being about to pause and hop to sections forward and backwards manually with it. What more could I want with a teleprompter? I very much recommend!!

However, the head of the teleprompter is noticeably heavy. When using a tablet, the front weight sometimes makes the entire unit feel like it could tip forward. The legs can handle it, but you definitely notice the imbalance. Assembly is simple, and the product works well for recording lessons, reels, and tutorials. For creators who need a clean workflow, it’s a helpful tool. I filmed 10 lessons for my course using this teleprompter, and everything went smoothly until the remote control suddenly stopped responding. The issue wasn’t the battery; we replaced it several times. The remote powers on and shows a blue indicator light, but the internal chip seems to have failed because it no longer communicates with the device at all. This was incredibly disappointing, especially because the teleprompter itself works well. Having the remote fail so early completely interrupted my workflow and forced me to pause filming reels and other content. For the price, I expected more reliability or at least a second backup remote included in the kit. If you plan to use this teleprompter for consistent recording, be prepared that the remote may not be dependable. The device is good quality, but the remote control is the weak point.

If you have an iPad or tablet, this is a great teleprompter at an entry level price. It's easy to use, comes with a handy remote allowing you to control scrolling speed on the fly. If you're looking for a teleprompter for everyday applications, this is a great option!

I do a lot of presenting style videos and before I was just memorising all my lines and then creating cuts between each mistake or forgotten line. With this, you get an easy setup teleprompter and a professional-looking end result to your video. By that, I mean you are focused on the monitor which is directly in front of the lens, therefore your eye contact is always on the camera. You will need an iPad or a cheap android tablet, so keep that in mind. I was looking for a teleprompter that was able to hold my iPad pro was a difficult task and most teleprompters would start well over five hundred pounds. I have quite a few Newer products, so I trust their quality. The remote is easy to use and allows you to adjust the scrolling speed without looking away from the camera. You can pause, start and alter things straight from the remote. This makes presenting videos so much more flawless and less time-consuming to produce. The reflection quality of the glass is great, very little visibility to what is behind the glass and the hood blocks out all rear light that could bleed through and impact the ability to read your lines. I think what sets this apart from others is its ease of use. It’s made for a one-person team. The app that goes with it is simple and nothing spectacular, but it does allow for easy inputting off text and quick starting. I am only using it in one space so I will generally leave it fully set up, however, if you find yourself being someone who needs to regularly dismantle it, you may find it to be a pain and very time-consuming. Despite this, I really do like the build quality and easy usability. I’m a one-man video team so having something like this which can be set up and left to rely on at a drop of the hat is brilliant. It has made my videos much more professional looking along with being an investment I can certainly see benefiting me in the long run. Granted the price is slightly high but when you consider the cheaper ones being near useless and the expensive ones being out of reach for the average consumer, I think a mid-range option like this at its current asking price is not bad. The app is very easy to use albeit a little basic, the build quality of the teleprompter itself is high quality and it gives your videos a really professional end result. Highly recommend. Neewer does it again!! I love this thing. I use it to shoot shorts all the time and it is the perfect mid point between the cheapy things designed for mobile phones and the crazy expensive ones for broadcast. Does everything it claims and does it well. Easily accommodates my Lenovo tablet - IN PORTRAIT!! So it works really well for giving yourself a narrow width to minimise eye-scanning movements and plenty of height to see what's coming. It's really easy to set up once you get your head around it, and the carry case is great. It's a little on the cheap side being just fabric and foam, but it's sturdy enough to throw in the boot (trunk) and take on a job. The remote is also pretty decent, if a little basic. But it works and connects easily. The software is also pretty good if not amazing. I do really appreciate the cloud file management though. Just upload the doc on your writing device and it'll be available on your teleprompter device. Be nice if we could just link to Google Docs and avoid the cloud entirely, but it's perfectly good enough.
