Great for players, fits nice and snug under the shoulder pads and provides impact protection where your pads don't, on your upper chest. Will be buying another one for backup. Also very comfortable

With world wide hockey orgnisations mandating neck guards, (which is a legal knee jerk to the now manslaughter incident on the UK - it was not accidental :-(That being said the Aegis is very comfortable to wear and without fully testing appears to give good protection.

I have used several different goalie neck guards in the past. This has very good protection and a comfortable fit.

Hubby is a goalie and was looking for a neck guard like this for quite a while, to replace his very worn out one. He was skeptical when it arrived as it is quite thin, but it has done its job well.

I previously had a CCM throat guard that covered the upper chest with short sleeves and it protected well but it was a terrible quality and it ripped after several games. The Aegis Interceptor is extremely comfortable and protects really well. I wear this instead of the plastic dangler because I hate the noise of the dangler against the mask. The Aegis Interceptor is lightweight but offerers good protection from high shots. It has also held up really well through 20 plus games. It looks brand new still. I highly recommend it.
