Whisper quiet
We've had four or five coffee grinders over the last decade or so. This is, by far, the quietest. Even with a full load of beans it hardly makes much noise. The twin blades are very robust and make light work of dark roasts, even when set to 20 secs, well below the 'maximum' time. The two sets of blades are a great benefit. We'll use the second, 'wet', set occasionally but one of the biggest benefits will come if we get the same problem as has happened for our last 3 blenders - if the blades come loose. We rarely had an issue with the motor so if this happens we'll have the option to keep going using the second set.The timer function is actually super-helpful - more so than I thought originally. Getting a consistent fineness is really beneficial and it avoids over-use, which I suspect has been a cause of previous blenders failing.I'm really happy with this purchase and the product is far better quality than I expected at the price. I hope this one lasts, but even if it homes up for a year it's still good value. If we get .ore than a year out if it then the extra couple of pounds spent here across it's life will be well worth it.

Very efficent and saves my joints
I grind koji rice as a rub to age meat and it's getting hard to do it with a hand grinder at my age. So sheer pain drove me to try an electric one. It's just brilliant – it pulverised the rice to the consistency of talc in seconds. (I haven't tried the wet grinder yet.)Pros:* makes short work of hard grains* you can set it and leave it* steel bowls, not plastic* you can wash it rather than just wipe it clean* solid build and locks firmlyCons: I actually couldn't find any. I didn't notice the blades moving up and down, to be honest, but it certainly did a far better job than the fixed blades on the grinder attachment of a much pricier Swiss blender that I have. It also seemed less prone to scattering powder when opened. Good value and performance – I'm very happy with it. So are my arthritic hands!

Broke after 10 months of use, but product guarantee
Was really pleased with it to begin with, using mainly for spice and coffee grinding, but suddenly stopped working after 10 months. Contacted the team for replacement and was given a full refund so customer service is good

Good Unit
One slight niggle is that there are two grinders, but only one lid, so the cap has to be washed and dried if you use the chopper for wet ingredients and then want to grind spices. Looked up trying to get a new lid, but seems it is not available from the manufacturers.

It's stop working!!
To be fair, they replied to my emails promptly, and the problem I encountered was addressed and resolved quickly. However, I expected better from this brand. After using the coffee grinder less than ten times, it stopped working! I would not recommend this product as it does not offer good value for money.
