Versatile, replaces many kitchen appliances. Lots of functions, minor glitches, but resolved
This type of machine is SLOWLY making its way into US market. They are well known in Europe and rapidly gaining in popularity. Thermomix is the de facto standard, for over 50 years, but it is quite expensive and requires subscription to have access to a vast database of recipes. However, there are alternatives which are reasonable competitors in quality and functionality for much lower price. In US Thermomix showed up around 2015 and costs about $1500 and requires a subscription as mentioned above. OmniCook is a much cheaper alternative to Thermomix and has most of the same functions. It does not have a huge database of recipes, but they are ALL FREE and if you like Asian food you can enjoy these recipes as there are a lot of them in the database. We have encountered some glitches with software and hardware, but the Customer Service is very helpful and friendly and is resolving the issues. Some more details if you want to continue to read: It works great for making making some dishes that require multiple steps like sauteing some ingredients, than adding more ingredients using the built-in scale, cooking, blending or chopping - simply amazing how much you can do with this one appliance. We have made many times soups like crème of broccoli, or potato leek soup. Built in recipes guide you step by step in food preparations, but you have to be connected to internet for them to work properly. Fortunately you can use more manual mode where you can control all parameters and you can create your own recipes and store them in the machine. You can also created an account on CooknJoy website and bind it to your machine. If you want to cook rice it beats any dedicated rice cooker. It makes great smoothies. It does great job kneading dough. Many other functions that you can just read about in the product description or on their website. Best of all - it cleans itself !!!

Just Terrible
I got this after all the glowing reviews on Amazon and YouTube. I don’t know how those great reviews came about, because there are glaring flaws that are impossible to miss. 1. You can’t change from metric to imperial measurements. There’s an OPTION to change it to imperial, but it doesn’t work and stays stuck on metric. That was my first clue that something wasn’t right with the Tokit. 2. The scale is bad. After putting in the required amount, the measurement on the scale will wildly vacillate, showing you put in far too little or way too much. This is on a level, solid surface and without touching the Tokit. For instance, if you need 100g of an ingredient, the scale’s display will count up to 150g, then countdown to 75g, then go back up to 150g, and it will never stop. You just have to HOPE you put in the right amount. 3. The recipes you add to your collection on their website don’t sync to the unit. 4. Unforgivably, the instructions on the display are either confusing or just plain wrong. Most consistently with the lid placement. The lid has two parts, a base, then a hole in the center where, when needed, you seal it with a measuring cup that screws in. Every time, the instructions don’t state that you need to put the lid on. Sometimes you need to seal the lid with the cup, but you have to guess when (like when steaming rice). Also every time, when you’re supposed to start the cooking, the photo in the instructions show the bowl WITHOUT the lid. So if the Tokit’s instructions fail on this very basic level, how am I to have ANY faith that complicated instructions are accurate? 5. It took nearly an hour to steam rice (the instructions stated about 15-20mins). This was the first thing I made because I thought it’d be the easiest (water + rice). The first time I made it according to the directions, and only the bottom and outside of the steam basket was steamed. The rest looked nearly raw. Thinking I did something wrong, I tossed it out and started over. The result was the same. I added more water, steamed again, and just a little more rice was fully steamed. I repeated this process three more times until everything was steamed. However, parts of the rice were a gooey mess and other parts were ok. So it took an hour to steam rice in the Tokit, but it only takes 15-20 minutes on the stove. 6. The curry chicken requires so much oil that when I put it in a bowl after cooking, there was about ¼ inch of oil floating on the top. The dish tasted like curry flavored oil. I used a paper towel to sponge up the excess, but it was still terrible. 7. If you want to make chicken curry and rice using the Tokit, it will take you about an hour and a half. It will take you less than half of that if you make both of them on your stove. The idea of a multi-kitchen tool is a good one, but don’t be fooled by the glowing reviews. There are way too many glitches and issues with the software and instructions that are impossible to miss.

Helpful sooper-deluxe food processor.
This device does save time. It is easy to use and works well. It's pricey. I replaced my food processor and blender with this device. You can add your own settings, but it is a little awkward as I have not figured out how to delete or rename a setting once saved. The food that I made with this thing is delicious. Meals that I would never even attempt are now a lot easier. I am hoping that the custom user settings become easier to use over time. I love - love - being able to set the time, speed and temperature of cooking. The ability to set the Omni Cook to stir and cook food while I play on my computer is wonderful! About the only problems that I have found is that noodles tend to wrap around the base of the cutting blades, and eggs tend to bake onto the steel. Other than that, the whole setup is EXPANDABLE and very easy to clean! I bought the food processing attachments to slice food. You can set the device to stir in reverse! This is important for when you want to stir something without slicing it up. I'm still learning how to use this thing, but I like it. This device will not replace your kitchen knife, but it will free you up from many other tasks.

A great Kitchen tool with excellent customer service to back it
I've been having a blast using the Tokit Omni since January 2023, and let me tell you, it's totally changed my cooking game! This amazing gadget isn't just another kitchen tool; it’s a total game-changer. Whether I’m making precise sous-vide meals, steaming veggies, blending smoothies, or sautéing, the Omni always delivers fantastic results. **Performance and Features:** The Tokit Omni really packs a punch with its impressive performance and easy-to-use controls. Navigating through its various functions is a breeze, and the precise temperature settings have helped me whip up perfectly cooked meals every time. I especially love how it can handle everything from delicate sauces to hearty soups like a pro! It's become my go-to kitchen companion for making fresh juice, soft-boiled eggs, and even fluffy low-carb pancake batter, plus I can easily add my own recipes to the mix. **Customer Service Excellence:** I did run into a little hiccup when the release latch broke, but Tokit’s customer service team really impressed me with their dedication! They quickly replaced the base of my unit, and when a bowl was missing from my delivery, they promptly followed up and sent a replacement. Their communication was super professional and efficient, and they made sure I got everything sorted out in no time. It’s so refreshing to find a company that truly stands by its products! **Overall Experience:** Honestly, the Tokit Omni is a top-notch, versatile appliance that has made cooking so much more enjoyable for me. Whether you're a cooking pro or just someone who wants to make meal prep easier, this device is absolutely worth it. And knowing that there’s fantastic customer service behind the product makes it an even better choice! A huge thank you to Tokit for creating such an innovative product and for providing such amazing support to your customers. I’m proud to be a Tokit Omni owner and can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a high-quality all-in-one kitchen appliance!

A great addition to the kitchen
I was amazed by how convenient it is to replace my blender, scale and my wok all with a single machine. I've used the machine to make bread, to steam rice and cook main courses. It has a wide range of selections, which will give you detailed instructions on how to prepare ingredients and all you need to do is pouring them into the blender. The machine will take care of the cooking for you. Another big thumbs up is how easy it is to clean the machine. It saves time to cook and you don't have to worry about washing the machine afterwards.

Works well and offers some good features but could be better
Update: Software improvements have been made since the original review. A few months after the initial review, software updates resolved the issues that we had with not saving Wi-Fi credentials. Additional improvements like functional automatic updates and things like that to make it a lot easier to use. It’s been a very useful kitchen appliance for us, but we still think it would be helpful to input your own custom recipes. Good: -Offers a variety of features. -Easy to navigate through the menus. -Nice size, shape and look. Bad: -Product does not save credentials for Wi-Fi. -Pouring from the pitcher is not as easy as expected. -A tutorial on cleaning would be helpful. -Small lid could be better. -I would prefer the recipes to list measurements in cups and ounces in lieu of grams. I ordered the TOKIT Omni Cook Robot All-in-1 Food Processor. We like that this food processor has so many features and we are still learning. We like the modern sleek design that gives our kitchen an upscale appearance. We find the control panel intuitive and we like that we can navigate to other menus while the machine is being used. In our opinion, the grinding worked well, but it did not cut a whole onion. Overall, we use the machine daily for fruit smoothies, iced coffee, and occasional rice dishes, but we would like to see software fixes to make it better. Note: We would prefer a small lid detection feature. Without the small lid installed, food particles splash throughout the area.

Terrible support service and product
Worst company ever to deal with. I paid almost $1000 for my machine about a year ago, took me about six months to use it, supposedly it has a two year warranty and I started getting an error 10 code right off the bat, which means the mixing unit has to be replaced. It is now six months later and I’ve never gotten replacement so I basically wasted $1000. I would not recommend this company or product at all.
