It is important to note that this is a whitening accelerator and needs to be used with the whitening paste. It seems to be working really well so far. I have been using it inconsistently for the past few weeks and I can see a difference in my teeth. I was concerned about discomfort in my mouth or on my gums and have not had any negative side effects so far.

I really like the Supersmile Whitening Accelerator. I’ve used up a few tubes of it at this point. It’s a clear gel that I add to my existing toothpaste or my regular Supersmile toothpaste to help enhance the whitening effect. It’s essentially a hydrogen peroxide gel that boosts whitening. I don’t notice any difference in taste from my normal toothpaste when I use it. Even though I have sensitive teeth, none of the Supersmile products bother my teeth or cause increased sensitivity, including this one. It’s also SLS-free, which I really appreciate since my mouth is sensitive to SLS. It’s pretty expensive, but it comes in a large tube and you only need a pea-sized amount, so it lasts me a really long time. That, along with the fact that I can whiten my teeth without sensitivity, makes this product a great value to me. I really like it and will continue to use it. I am already a fan of this brand, and have been using their products for the past year. This whitening accelerator is best used with the whitening toothpaste also offered by the supersmile company, but it has whitening ingredients that allow you to use it on its own. The gel is clear, and you will want to use a dry toothbrush when using it on your teeth. I have crowns, and it has never been an issue for me to use it with any of the dental work I've had done. I am very sensitive to the gels that go into dental trays, but I've not had any sensitivity with supersmile products and found them to be effective and easy to use. They are on the higher end, price-wise, but in my experience this is a more effective, gentle and economical way of maintaining white teeth than frequent visits to the dentist for their approach. Great product, and I am happy to be a very satisfied repeat customer!

I've been using this with their toothpaste for a few weeks now. This is a big tube and I'll run out of their toothpaste before I run out of the accelerator. I've noticed that while using it with their toothpaste I see some noticeable whitening, however it isn't as much as they state you can get. They claim up to five shades whiter in 6 days and I just haven't noticed that much. I'd say one shade at most, probably not that much. They say that you should use it with their whitening toothpaste for maximum results. They say you can use it with other toothpastes, but don't know how much or if it will have any effect with other toothpastes. I guess I will find out when I run out of their toothpaste. It has a mild chemical taste which isn't really bad or good tasting. I'm glad I got a chance to try their accelerator as I had previously only tried their whitening toothpaste and I didn't see any change after using the entire tube. Back when I tried that I suspected it was primarily the accelerator doing the work and I still think that will be the case. I will come back and update this once I get a chance to evaluate just the accelerator with other toothpastes.
