displays rmp and temperature, great feature
I boughit this out of general, uneducated fear that gaming laptops run too hot and thermal throttling is the most frequent reason for laptop death. So I have Razer blade 15 advanced model. This device comes with the main unit and a usb-usb cord. Holding the power button for three seconds turns the cooling pad on, short pressing the same power button will go to different modes, and <| |> butons adjust the fan rpm over 5 increments. MIne typically runs 1875 rpm at level 1, and have maxed out at 3000 rpm at level 5. Modes simply turn on/off different combination of fans. there are total of 6 fans, three larger and three smaller. I suppose I can play with it and see which mode fits the laptop's intake the best, but I always leave it at all-on mode. And the individual fan light will turn off when deactivated. What I really like about this cooling pad is that it comes with a small display that shows the rpm and the temperature in Celcius. Kick stands are long enough to put the setup on an incline which improves the viewing angle. In all honesty, once your laptop is on, you won't really be able to see the lighting. It's noticeable, but suttle. There would be plenty of backlight to fade the color from your cooling pad. And the red actually looks nice(r than the blue imo)

Works Well, But Some Parts Are Subject to Breaking.
I bought this in 2020 to keep my 17" laptop cool. I have no complaints about its cooling ability. I wish that the lights could be turned off, because although they look cool, they're not needed and can be a bit distracting. It's not a big deal. I primarily wrote this review to let everyone know what happened to the small fold out plastic spacers in the front of the cooler. They're flimsy and they break. First one broke and a week later the other one went. Was this the end of this product? No. I just super glued the piece back in place with Gorilla glue and 15 seconds later it was good as new. In fact, now that the glue has stabilized the pieces they're much stronger than original. They don't fold down anymore, but I never folded these pieces down anyway. I like that the fan speed is adjustable. And the fans are silent. For the money this is the best cooler that I've found. It's not perfect, but it does what it's supposed to...it keeps my computer very cool.

really helped with my gaming laptop
i have a fairly recent asus rog w/ a rtx2200. i had it on the same passive cooler as my other rog's. it did not take long for it set off alarms on my monitoring. i put this cooler on top of my passive cooler, so bit of a caveat there, but it kept my laptop between 180 and 150 degrees. mind you, i'm playing borderlands 3, but it still cut the temp by 20-50 degrees. i was actually quite surprised by the variation of temperature. i should also mention my laptop's fan speed was set to turbo. here's hoping it holds up, if it craps out unreasonable early, the review will be adjusted.

Super Cool.
I've been using this cooling pad for a little over a month, and it's been delivering more than adequate cooling for my 6-year-old Lenovo laptop. I've noticed not as much lag in games like Starbound and Second Life while the cooling pad was in use, compared to without the cooling pad. The angle that the rear feet provide is neither too high nor too low for my comfort. Even though I would have loved for it to have a switchable temperature unit option for both Fahrenheit and Celsius, I can always convert Celsius to Fahrenheit if I really needed to. Other than that, it's a pretty good cooling pad for the money. I'd definitely look to Keynice for other things in the future.

Works but there are a few issues..... PROS & CONS Listed Here
So over all, I like it, Here are the pros and cons. PROS: - Works well with the air inducts with my Dell XPS. Well thought of fan placement. - The option to choose which fans turn and at what speed - the tilt is about perfect (for me anyway). - QUIET. - Sturdy, for the most part (so it seems right now new). There is a little "FLEX" or "tilt" as far as unevenness goes. But that could also be my laptop. - the bottom "holder" or pop out feet on the front, are small enough that they do not interfere with your mouse pad or typing. CONS: - The temperature is ONLY in Celcius causing me to learn the Celcius to Ferenight conversion and I don't like that. - Cell phone holder. It doesn't fit my cellphone (Note 10+) with a slim case. You have to use it without a case. - When all the fans are on, there is a reduction in power supplied. It doesn't seem to affect the cooling that I can tell, but you can hear the fans slow upon turning them all on. Again, this could be the POWER SUPPLY from my computer to the cooler. For being one of the most expensive, these small issues should have nee resolved. What I personally wish it had is when plugged in it turns on automatically. that way i can turn it on and off with the start-up or shut down of my computer. Not just shut down. I have noticed that my Dell XPS is NOT throttling the processors or the fan nearly as much. But, that Dell is 10 years old. I will be trying it on a NEW dell that has: i7-9th gen CPU 4.50ghz (45Watt) 64 Gigs Ram NVIDIA 620 Graphics Wind 10 pro touch display lighted keyboard etc. With the display, CPU, RAM all such high load, we will see if this laptop cooler can keep it cool and will report back. I also have a MSI I will be trying this on that is about the same as above but Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics and a 4K screen on three monitors with 128Gigs of Ram. So we will see how this does. But, overall, I might be returning it. Why? I do love it honestly. But for me personally, I can't get over the Celcius Temp thing and I feel the manufacture could have had an "American" one or a way to change it for the price that was paid. If this was made for Americans, I would have given 4 or even 5 stars even with the cons.

Works
It's definitely quiet, obviously I can hear it but it isn't whirling loudly and is lightweight since it's made from cheapy plastic. It definitely keeps my lap cool from my laptop and fits a 15" perfectly. I'm not sure if it is actually cooling down my laptop as I game, as my laptop is still being a noise machine with it's own fan, but as soon as I just started browsing normally online it seemed to quiet down. It does help with keeping it cool on my lap though so it is useful, just wished the design was a little more sleek and subtle.

Quiet
Ok. So I got this yesterday and immediately hooked it up to my Lenovo gaming laptop. Guess I'm a kid at heart because items that light up are cool. Lol. I like how you can adust the fan speed and how many fans can run at once, it's also surprisingly quiet. The digital controls that are in front are nice. I like the ease of having them right there. The anti-slip holders are ok, honestly I wish they were a bit longer to hold more of the laptop, but they work. Overall, I'm very happy with this.
