I honestly wasn't sure a big desk mat would make a difference, but this one is awesome. The size is perfect—40''x16''—so it covers my entire desk where my keyboard and mouse go, protecting the wood and making everything look really tidy and put-together, which is a huge win for my cluttered setup. It feels super soft under my wrists when I’m typing all day, and my mouse glides perfectly smooth on it. Plus, it just looks nice; it gives my basic home office a cozy, upgraded feel that makes me actually want to sit down and work.

I just replaced this pad even though I liked a lot for a few minor reasons which might bot be a problem for most. I didn't like the feeling of "felt" as much as I like the new one which is more like a mouse pad. This made it more prone to picking up lint etc and a little harder to clean but still pretty easy with a light brush or vacuum. The backing could have used more rubber as it tended to slip around a bit when using it but again, if you had a pc on top of it or other things weighing it down, not an issue. I was expecting something different when I received this so naturally I am a bit more biased towards the new one I just received today. HAving said that, this is a great desktop/ mouse pad for those on a budget who wouldn;t pass it by for design issues that someone like myself might have with it. Great value for the money. I will use it in another location anyway.

I purchased this desk mat to use as a solid background for product and tech photos, and it works perfectly. The material looks great on camera and adds a clean, professional look to my workspace. It is also quite smooth, allowing a mouse to glide easily. While it may not be designed for high-performance gaming, it performs very well for everyday use. The mat came with a bonus smaller mouse pad and a band for keeping it rolled up when storing, which was a nice touch. The textured back keeps it from sliding around on the desk, and the overall quality feels excellent. Definitely worth it for both function and style.

I needed something better than the cheap and thin PU Leather desk mats found on Amazon for a decent price. The PU Leather was a little sticky with normal human skin moisture and very thin and uncomfortable. I was hesitant to purchase from this brand because of some of the reviews. I have to say that I am extremely happy with my decision. Great price, feels great and fits desk nicely. I do wish it had stitching but for the price I'm not complaining. The desk mat also came with a very nice mouse pad - so that's a plus. Unrolling the desk mat out of the tube I was worried there would be creases but my item had none and I did not need to place heavy objects on all the corners to get it to relax and lay flat. Decent quality felt desk mat for the price. Bought for work use roughly 7 months ago. Mat is a good size and doesn’t slip on the bottom. Nearly all downsides are a result of the felt material. This was my first felt pad, and I should have gone with a different pad type. For all-day work, the felt was initially a little abrasive on my forearms. I did adjust somewhat to that over time, but it is one reason I’m tossing and going with leather. Over time, dead skin and other small particulates get embedded – this is felt. Vacuuming it or similar probably would do a good job of cleaning, but this is an office mat; switching to something like leather or even a poly mat would be lower maintenance and not require addl tools. My biggest complaint is in higher-use areas, the felt is now pilling up, similar to an old blanket. It’s not attractive, nor does it help with the friction on your hands/arms. There are tools out there designed to remove pills from fabric, but I’m not interested – will replace with a leather mat. For lighter use, this is an attractive, good option. Not for me.

The mat came nicely packaged as other reviews have stated. It's actually less thick than I expected, but still sturdy enough that you won't tear it. The rubber bottom side holds its grip very well, much better than my previous fabric mat. I think some people might be bothered by the texture, but you should know what to expect with felt fabric. It's certainly less scratchy than a wool sweater. And finally, my mouse slides just fine. I don't have fancy skates or play competitive FPS games, but I play a variety of other games and spend much of my day at my desk. I got this in the winter so it works well with the current climes. Remains to be seen if I'll regret it during summer. I'd highly recommend this mat for anyone who isn't picky about gear for gaming, and just wants something that works and looks cozy.
