Cinnamon rolls made perfect!
I was blown away by how beautiful a scent this cinnamon throws off. We just made a batch of cinnamon rolls with Kirkland Saigon Cinnamon and the aroma and taste were truly exquisite. I'm not a chef, but the oil content was just what I needed. Since our kids learned how to bake there's no more paying retail for our cinnamon rolls...very happy with this product and its price.

you have never had cinnamon like this before
I should have known amazon would have this! They have everything. I gave up my Costco membership and Kirkland is a brand I’ve only found at Costco. I almost paid another year just to get this cinnamon! It is named Saigon Cinnamon and it is from Vietnam. The most flavorful cinnamon Ive ever had, it has a bit of heat and a seriously cinnamon flavor. Saigon cinnamon is the best I’ve ever tasted or even smelled and cinnamon is my go to flavor for gum, mints, candies, tea whatever! Whenever I pull it out I hold it like a cup of tea and smell it. I wish I could make my whole house smell like this. Sound kind of nuts to rave about a cinnamon, but once you smell it then taste it you will notice a huge difference. Regular cinnamon is very bland in comparison. I hope this product opinion helps you to make an educated decision on your next purchase. I DID NOT receive a discount on this product. I trust reviews to make my purchases. So I write them honestly. I read reviews before I purchase anything a car, computer or items on Amazon. Then base my purchases upon whether the information that the reviewer is giving is important to me based on what I am looking for. One person may think something is good/bad and write a review based on their opinion. Those comments may or may not be relevant to my use for that item. What they think is great I may not find as relevant, or they don’t like something and it is exactly what Im looking for specifically because of that. The biggest things for me when assessing a product is the quality, well made or not? Does it function as stated. Is it easier or harder to use? etc. and if you have any questions leave it in comments and I will respond. If you find this review helpful please click on yes below. If not please reply no and let me know why in the comments section.

Good taste, great price
Tastes a bit spicy with a hint of sweetness, pretty standard cinnamon. For anyone worried about coumarin, here are some calculations for daily intake. Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI): 0.1 mg coumarin per kg body weight (1) 6.97 g coumarin per kg saigon cinnamon = 6.97 mg coumarin per g saigon cinnamon (2) 0.1 / 6.97 = 0.01435 0.01435 g saigon cinnamon per kg body weight = 0.002503 tsp saigon per lb body weight (3) Some examples: 50kg : 718 mg daily 60kg : 861 mg daily 70kg : 1010 mg daily 80kg : 1150 mg daily 100lbs : 0.250 tsp daily 120lbs : 0.300 tsp daily 150lbs : 0.375 tsp daily 180lbs : 0.451 tsp daily While it may not seem like much cinnamon, keep in mind that this is only if consumed in the full amount and daily. I personally use this mostly for baking, but I do not bake frequently enough nor do I consume enough of my goods at once to cause myself any concern. If you are using this for baking, there is probably no cause for alarm, although it would depend on how much you use, how often you bake, and how much you eat. If you like to mix a teaspoon of cinnamon with your tea every morning, you may want to buy Ceylon Cinnamon or Cassia Cinnamon which have much lower coumarin levels. Sources: 1. Best-tasting cinnamon on the planet!
I LOVE this stuff! I don't drive or own a car, so getting to my nearest Costco is not at all convenient for me. I was very excited when I discovered I could order Kirkland products online, especially my beloved Kirkland Saigon Cinnamon. I use a mix of different kinds of cinnamon - some of which I get from the dollar store (for, literally, a dollar!), and some fancy stuff from the spice shop. I'm in that camp of believers that cinnamon is helpful in controlling blood sugar for weight loss/management, so I use more than my fair share of cinnamon for that purpose, along with just enjoying the taste. I find all the information to be quite confusing over which type of cinnamon is the "correct" one to use for that purpose (or if it even matters), as well as all the info on which ones can be detrimental to your health. So just to be sure I'm getting the "correct" one for blood sugar control, but not too much of the bad stuff, I keep a small mason jar filled with a blend of different varieties of cinnamon, to ensure that one way or another, I'm getting the "correct" one for blood sugar control, but not too much of any one type that may be toxic. But when I'm using cinnamon in a recipe where I want a bold cinnamon flavor, this is always my go-to choice. I just try to maintain a healthy balance, like with everything else. Pretty much any food or other thing we ingest these days can be toxic in the right amounts, so as my late stepmother always used to say, "everything in moderation." I especially love how the Kirkland cinnamon gives a nice kick to my oatmeal. When I make oatmeal, I usually use about 1/4 tsp from my "mason jar blend" and another 1/4 tsp of the Kirkland cinnamon, and it's heavenly!

I have been taking cinnamon for over a year now mainly for the health benefits. I researched the product and discovered that the quality of cinnamon can vary very much depending on where it comes from. This is important when choosing which cinnamon to buy. If I was going to buy cinnamon I wanted, as far as possible, to buy a quality product. This product, Kirkland Saigon cinnamon has a good distinctive clean smell which I first sensed on opening the bottle. It's colour is a rich dark brown and I use a spoonful in my daily smoothie where it blends easily with the fruit. It is a little more expensive but the 2 bottles are large and it will last a long while. I have been using it daily now for 3 weeks and I am very happy with the purchase.

Great flavour, a quality product, I would like to be able to purchase refills rather than have to purchase the whole plastic jars again. They could make them available in a box perhaps. The product is absolutely the best ground cinnamon I have ever used and great value with the double pack. I gave one to my daughter and she loves it too...
