Good Value & Clean Power, Easy install
I chose the Soundstream ST4.1200D running my front and rear mids/ highs separates (Hertz brand) to replace a JL Audio JX 400/4D that was cutting in and out and producing static. I've had good experiences with Soundstream amps in the past and after reading many favorable reviews decided to give them a shot again. The stealth series is super convenient if space is an issue, and will easily fit under a seat, glovebox or rear deck of a car. I was surprised at how small it was due to it being Class D & the type of wiring harnesses it comes with. I used the supplied RCA to wire plug adapter since my existing system used RCA cables, and hooked up to power, ground and remote turn-on (if your using speaker level inputs you can do without the remote wire). It has LP/HP crossover switch but I'm running it full range since my head unit has crossover and EQ built-in. The manual shows a wiring schematic but did not include individual wire colors in it so I simply looked them up online (They are standard colors, same as almost every speaker wire out there, White, Grey, Green & Purple with negative having a black stripe). I initially turned the gains to halfway point, but after testing, volume was too low, I had to turn them all the way to max for my particular system. Sound is clean, clear at both quiet and loud volumes with pretty low noise considering my gain is at max, noise is less than the JL Audio it replaced. More expensive amps will have screw lug terminals and jacks integrated into the chassis, whereas the Stealth uses wire harnesses for all inputs, outputs and power, so butt/ splice connectors will be needed. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would buy this amp again.

Great amp for my Harley
Installed this in the fairing of my 2017 Road Glide. I paired the amp with some JBL speakers. The system sounds great, no static issues, and was easy to tune. I can easily hear my music doing 80 down the freeway! It has been installed for 1 year at this point, with no issues.

This amp will do a 2.1 system!
Did a small budget system in my son's Honda. Did a pair of components in the front doors at 4ohm stereo and bridged the rear channels to 4ohm on a SVC Polk 12" sub. Sounds great. Plenty of power and a night/day difference in the factory amp.The amp is mounted under the passenger seat and is mounted with heavy duty 3M two sided tape. I've seen the video where the amp goes into protection on the dyno when running 2ohm stereo or 4ohm mono. The reality is it runs 4ohm stereo and 4ohm bridged mono just fine. Hasn't gone into protect yet playing real music vs a dyno run anyway. I have the factory radio powering this thing without a seperate LOC and it sounds just fine. No noise, turn on pop / thump, or alternator whine. It's quite. Some things i don't like....had to install a distribution block to go from 8g power wire to two smaller power and ground wires. Triple check the wiring coming out of the harness and compare it to the directions and what's physically printed on the amp. By reading other reviews, I think the harness might be mislabled or possibly wired incorrectly based on the wire colors. For example, to bridge the rear channels on the amp the wiring was the opposite of what the manual showed me. Not a big deal but don't install this mindlessly if that makes sense. In sum, you really can't beat this amp for a low power setup. It reminds me of these efficent small class T and D amps for desktop systemsthis thing is like that but 4 channels for a vehicle, ATV, or cycle. In other words, its like two of those stereo amps in one small footprint and for 12v systems. Very small, very efficent, very good sound quality and with a nice adjustable crossover and gain control too.I think it would take a $300-$400 4-channel amp to really noticeably hear a better difference in sound quality and SPL. I would estimate the power output to be approx. 50w x 2 plus 150 X1 on the sub which produces more ouput than i imagined. I have a competition quality SQL 2000 watt sound system in my vehicle and my son's little $500 sound system gets him 80% there and is 5x better than factory sound IMO. If can spend another $100, consider the NVX VADM4.

Fantastic little Amp
Have this installed in my Ford Ranger Single Cab, needed a small amp for a small truck. It's powering a set of Kicker CS-Series 6-1/2"Components and a set of Alpine 6x8's in the rear. Sound quality is fantastic and loudness is very loud. Amp installs just like any other amp, not easy or hard, you'll know what to do. Instructions are pretty weak but you can get by with them if this is your first time. Dial adjustments are easy to use and pretty accurate. Took my truck from California to North Carolina, 3500 miles, blasting music all the way and amp never skipped a beat. Have had other amps cut out due to overheating but not this one.Would highly recommend if you're looking for a small compact amp to push some serious power.

Worked flawlessly for 2 years.
Installed it in my truck a couple years ago, powering 4 x Kicker CSC68's and worked flawlessly for 2 years...now each time I start my truck the speakers won't come on for 2-5 minutes, and then cut in and out for a few minutes, then it works normally. If I turn off my truck, then turn it right back on, starts doing it again. Buying a second one now since there's virtually no significant warranty period and so I don't have to re-do the install. Hope the next one lasts longer.
