It transfers clear lines to work space. Really enjoying all the possibilities. Works well on glass as well.

I was originally going to get this from an office supply store, but they didn't have the white. I often paint over black primer. I bought this so I could paint earrings for my friends. To make them, I have to be able to have the same design on both sides and this makes it easier. I'm also able to design something and transfer it onto another surface with this. I use it both for my paintings and for printmaking. This pack gave me more for the price than the office supply store, plus it had white and styluses! The stylus works even better than I expected! (I was using a ball point pen or a pencil previously) To top it off, it came with a nice zip pouch! Very happy with my purchase! Thank you! :)

Best choice as it has all there, black and white and the tracing tool is perfect as dotting tools.

I give this 5 stars because the product is very good, but not what I hoped I might get. I am transferring a very complicated all-over pattern (boning channels of 18th century stays) to cloth with a light background. I've tried Dritz marking paper and it doesn't show up clearly. Marking pens will not work due to the pattern needing to stay in place over the fabric. I tried these carbon papers on a sample piece and they give a perfect detailed transfer. The downside is that the stitching will not cover the black line. I gave the sample a good hand scrubbing and got the carbon off (it may have made the fabric duller), but I do wish I could find some product that had the accuracy of this carbon paper and also came off with water or heat. Oh well! Another thought is that stays are underwear, and no one will ever see my underwear anyway!
