A good addition to a child's 1st model railroad
A great addition to a Brio railway for Halloween. It lights up and makes sounds to add some spooky 'life' for the season.

Very cool
My 2yo and 5yo are very happy with it. They love playing with Halloween toys year round. Just note that it only makes noise with the Brio Smart Tech engine - the new Smart Tech engine that’s blue and can download compatibility with new Smart Tech stations via the app. Also, some of the features didn’t work when our train engine’s batteries were low.

Nice addition
In my opinion this one of the funnest of smart engine additions available. Adds variety to my son’s wooden track table/ set up. Expensive but we like it.

You need to buy a special engine for spooky sounds
So I bought the ghost train and cargo car thinking when used with ghost train station sounds came from the station, NOPE you have to buy a different train engine for the sounds.

Arrived with a piece missing
We were SO excited about this spooky train station that we ordered for our kid’s 3rd birthday. When the box arrived, it was missing the zombie guy that is shown on the outside of the box as one of the included pieces. So we called the Brio folks and the lady on the phone told us the zombie guy was discontinued and that there is nothing they can do for us. She had a really snippy attitude and it was just an all-around unpleasant experience. Brio is a total racket. They make these little additions and when you buy them, they won’t work without a $60 train that you have to buy separately. Just terrible.

I wanted this but it sucks and does not work
I waited to buy this for my children, I saved money to buy this. You need to buy the sound tech train, it costs $70+, to make this work. And even then it does NOT WORK. we uploaded and down loaded the app and tried to use the features, it worked once but even then wasn't even cool. Boo.
