These decals are clean and professional looking, almost like they came as a stock option. A surprising number of reviewers seem to be unaware the clear top film comes off, so here is how to apply these in greater detail. 1. Prep the surface of application, first with a wipe-down of clean water, followed by isopropyl alcohol. 2. Test fit where you want the decal, using a dry-erase marker to dot the top, bottom, left and right edges as well as the corners of the decal. You can use a small piece of painter's tape to temporarily place it and stand back, ensuring everything is where you want it. 3. Peel away the paper backing, then line up one edge on the dots you created previously. 4. Roll the decal on keeping it aligned to your previous marks. Use very light pressure so you can reposition it if needed. 5. Use a firm, non-marking tool to apply pressure to the design over the clear plastic film. Rub firmly in all directions, viewing from slight angles to ensure bubbles aren't under the decal design (i.e. union and stripes). The cap or marker body from step 2 work perfectly for this. 6. Peel up the corner of the clear plastic film, leaving the decal behind. 7. Wire down in isopropyl alcohol to clean marker residue and any remaining adhesive.

Looks great. Hopefully it lasts longer than a few weeks or months. Was very easy to apply. There are a few bubbles but I was able to push them out. The clear film is not so clear to where you can’t see it on my white car. I’ll give it a week to see if it grows on me, if not I’ll return and try a magnetic one.

These are great matching pair decals that are easy to apply, and look great on my vehicle. The color is perfect, but more glossy than matte as described. I'm okay with is since my vehicle is glossy so the shine complements. For those reviews complaining about the clear film bubbling and not adhering to the applied surface, that's because you are supposed to remove the clear film when you install the decal. There is no adhesive on the film, just the decal. For those complaining about one of the flags being reversed, look at the product before you buy it. This is a matched pair intended to be applied to a vehicle, with the field of stars on the leading (forward) edge of the vehicle (the usual view on the driver's side with the "reverse" view on the passenger's side).
