I’ll be durned. No flicker
I bought some new lamps, but wanted them dimmable. So, I bought a couple table top dimmers and some GE Reveal dimmable LED bulbs. The bulbs flickered annoyingly on any brightness level. Remove the dimmer, no flicker, but too bright, of course. These Phillips bulbs worked flawlessly with the dimmer!

Great light quality for color and nice dimming action.
These lights have a very good CRI. Don't know what CRI is? Well it means that the light quality is of upmost quality to not wash out colors. Not all LEDs are equal in this respect. I also like that these are dimmable and don't produce flickering when dimed. If you have dimming issues with these then you likely have a poor quality light dimmer. Not all dimmers are equal in how they do their thing.

Quality of emitted light is good; but bulbs are failure prone
I purchased four of these bulbs earlier this year. After an estimated 1200 - 1500 hours of use, two of the four bulbs have already failed or are near failure. Both bulbs appear to have one or more of the internal LED emitters that have failed, with the remaining emitters flickering very visibly. The quality of the emitted light was good up to the point of failure. But the lifetime is just too short for an expensive bulb.

Bright, flicker free and truly dimmable, these are THE bulbs to buy!
As shown, I installed new pendant lighting over my bar area alongside of a Lutron Caseta LED compatible dimmer. In spite of my efforts, several other brands of bulbs would flicker when dimmed. Though more expensive, these were highly rated so I ordered and installed them. They provide beautiful, warm, and ambient lighting with zero flickering regardless of the dimmer setting. I’ve purchased more of these for other areas of my home and would delightfully recommend them to family, friends, and all others looking for a high quality, high performing bulb!

Best LED bulb to-date, especially for hospitality, terrace, bedroom use
I don't usually get this excited over a lightbulb (ok maybe I do lately because most LED bulbs have major flaws for critical uses; but not these). Having used a number of LED products for clients in hospitality (hotels / restaurants) and own use (bedroom, terrace) these are close to the best LED bulbs available as I write this - at any price level, and easily the best value at their actual price level. What sets them apart: 1. Very natural color reproduction - they emit the full spectrum (CRI well above 90) 2. The full-power color temperature of 2700K is a tad warmer than the typical 2800K "soft white", a desirable trait - AND it actually gets warmer the more the bulb is dimmed, that for LEDs is a new and rare desirable feature (the dimmer the light, the warmer it must be to look pleasant and not "ghastly" to the human eye). 3. They're dimmable down to virtually 0% light output at about 3% input power level (at which point they just barely start to glow) and do NOT flicker at any dim level. (A lot of other supposedly dimmable bulbs, will dim down to about 15-20% brightness level which is still quite bright, and if you try to dim them further they begin flickering. These ones properly dim down to nothing.) 4. Super-important: neither they nor the dimmer driving them, ever buzz or hiss at any dimming level. (Most other LED bulbs, even some premium ones I've tried, will hiss or buzz if dimmed 50% or below). My only wish is for Philips to make bulbs with this tech in more power levels and shapes/form factors. Update: 9 month later (of approximately 10hrs/day use), dropping from 5 to 2 stars, because 3 out of 4 of these 100W bulbs have failed (in 2 different fixtures - one of which is undimmed). One just up and stopped working, and two others have started flickering REALLY badly (at full brightness i.e. NO dimming applied). Maybe a bad batch? I really want to like these, but the manufacturer needs to fix the longevity or quality control issue.

Flicker Free
I dont understand why some here say these are not flicker free, if something works for one it should work for all. Past couple day my power went out, I started my 7k watt Gen and some of my standard cheap LEDs were flickering like crazy, so I changed the worsts ones with some Philips Flicker Free LEDs and the flickering stopped. I never had flickering problem with the old incandescent bulbs, and they was heck of a lot cheaper compared to these Philips LEDs.....

Be Kind to Your Eyes
At the advice of my eye doctor, I had to tone down the intensity of my 100w full spectrum LEDs. Spending all day under those bright lights may have given me a sun tan, but my eyes were paying the price for the eye strain. 5,000k down to 2700k. Things are still well lit in my office, but at the end of the day, my eyes feel a lot better. With this kind of product and with the expectations you should have for it, you must have the highest possible quality and this product was just that.

Check your box
I ordered these because they had the "warm glow effect." The lightbulbs that were sent to me didn't have that, but I didn't realize this until it was too late to return them. Just make sure when you get them that you actually got what you ordered. I'm an interior designer and these were for a client's entire house. He specifically wanted the warm glow effect, so since these didn't have this, we had to buy replacements that did. Now I own a gazillion expensive light bulbs I don't need.
