love it in my kitchen
there was a cheap contractor grade b00b light in our kitchen that put out a harsh bright light. Hated the fixture, hated the light. I'm one of those that avoids overhead lights as often as possible anyway. However sometimes you do need one. I love this fixture! Gives a warm, diffused overhead light. Note that it requires candelabra base bulbs which I did not have on hand. I can't speak to ease if installation because my handyman did it.

Gorgeous
I love this light fixture. It's simple and elegant in design, it would fit nicely with a range of different decor styles. It was easy to install by myself. The real magic though is when you turn it on. I love the shadow that this shade throws, and I like how it's bright but not overwhelming. Using e12 4W candelabra light bulbs.

Great Value-Very Sharp Style
Good looking fixture! I had to experiment with different bulbs to find one that didn't reflect too much of the pattern. While it is pretty, the shadow is much more fancy than the rattan fixture. Warm colored lightbulbs look the most soft and elegant to me.

2nd times a charm
The first light I was sent was defective. Just like the other 1 star review by Mahi, it flipped my breaker everytime. Amazon sent a second and it works fine. Nice light for the money if it works.
