I have Hue bulbs throughout my house and I couldn’t be happier with them. These white ambience lights are great for using in my existing highhats. They give off plenty of light and Philips has tons of light recipes to choose from in their app so you can set the mood according to how you feel. You can also create your own light setting. These light will work with Bluetooth or for a full slate of settings you can connect them with the Hue bridge. If you are going to use more than 10 lights then you must use the bridge. I love these lights and highly recommend them. They aren’t cheap but they are worth it especially if you are just starting out with smart lighting as no other company offers you the quality and variety of lights that Philips does. If you use Apple HomeKit these work great. They also connect to Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. I personally prefer the security and the user interface of Apple but I have tried it with Alexa as well and was happy with the results. You can’t go wrong with these lights.

I have been wanting to try these for a long time but $100 for 2 bulbs is crazy especially when competitors are 70% less. The pricing has come down on promo and I don’t mind paying $50-60 for 2 bulbs at least it’s a little competitive now. The product is awesome, easy to install and with my hub the lighting scenes are top notch can’t wait until Halloween or Christmas. I read they might be discontinuing this line which may be concerning to paying this much for bulbs and they stop working…hope that’s not true.

These are easy to pair with your device, easy to manage individually or as a group, and you have a lot of options for finding the right color for the mood. I have four in my basement office and shut off specific bulbs for video conference calls to manage how I look on camera. I can also adjust the lighting for watching television or go for a specific ambiance if I’m chilling out and listening to music or having a cocktail after work. So happy I bought them.

With this purchase, we now have over 30 Philips Hue Smart Bulbs in our house. Setup with Alexa is easy. Creating color schemes and routines for parties, holidays, movie viewing or just for fun is simple with the Alexa app. Using your voice to control the lights when you've got your arms full of groceries, laundry, food or pets is extremely helpful. To be honest, we've been in this house for 15 years and I STILL don't know which switch controls what lights :) but having the Smart Bulbs makes it simple. The bulbs are a little pricey compared to incandescent bulbs but a quality LED bulb should outlive me!

I've had Philips Hue bulbs for about 6 years and have yet to have one burn out. The color and brightness are great, they never lose connection unless my internet goes out, and the app enables a lot of different features. I mostly use these for accent and backlighting to paint the walls in my boring white wall apartment. You can buy cheaper bulbs but the Hue app and reliability are worth the extra money for me. I knocked a star off for the price compared to competitors, and also it doesn't do purple very well, it ends up being blue, magenta, or pink.

It’s worth it to get the Hue hub, and set it up for easy automation. Can choose between a lot of colors - currently have blood orange for Halloween. Works well Amazon and I set the automations up with the Hue, previously tried the GE lightbulbs but had to return them bc it was not working properly with my Alexa. These all come on when it’s set and off when they’re supposed to. I can change the colors and even if you have multiple you can easily match the colors

I really LOVE HUE lighting! They have many choices and it is fun to be able to control them with the HUE app on my phone.

I’m a huge fan of HUE LIGHTS. These throw off a lot of light, but they can also be dimmed. They have a soft yellow daylight hue to them. I am probably going to get a pair of the coloured Hue BR30 lights for over the stove where it seems like I need a lot more light.

I connected Bluetooth first in iOS app and did firmware update - not sure if was necessary. Was easy to add to zigbee2mqtt and can control in home assistant fine. I am using a Sonoff 3.0 P dongle for coordinator.
