Anchor Hocking 8-oz Irish Coffee Mugs, Set of 12

I took a chance on these because of the good price for a set of 12. Enough reviews said they either came broken or had un-removeable stickers, that I was nervous about the order. They all came in good condition - none broken. They're smallish, but that's what you want for a big group of people anyway - bought these for a party. The handles are perfectly comfortable, which is important. They seem sturdy and look nice. Sure enough; there was a sticker on every single mug. I filled the sink up with water, set them in and let them stay there about 4 hours, and when I came back the labels fell right off in my hand. So overall I'm happy with this purchase.

They are smaller than I thought, but I don't know ounces so that's on me. Overall, they are well made and really cute. I bought them to give as Christmas gifts to colleagues. I made peppermint chocolate spoons and wrapped them together with a small bag of marshmallows to place in the glasses before I gifted them. I was worried about the packaging because it came in a dented oversized Amazon box with no fragile labels on it and inside was a sheet of brown paper thrown around the manufacturers box, which was basically loose and moving easily, but DID have the Fragile images marked on it. Thankfully, Anchor Hocking packed them well so there was no damage but Amazon totally failed there - if the product is clearly marked FRAGILE and you are repackaging, its a good idea to make sure FRAGILE is on the new outer box as well.

Beautiful, good quality glasses, so why a 1 star? Because they put a stupid sticker that refuses to go away on each one. A really ugly, stubborn, no freaking use sticker on each glass. Ruins the product completely. It is not just an annoyance, it makes the product totally worthless. I will change it to 5 stars if they stop putting the stickers on these glasses. Until then, this is not worth more than $2 a dozen. Seriously!

Bought these for Affogato Wednesdays at my work. Only issue is that one mug was packaged with a big chip around the mouthpiece. This happened prior to packaging, since there is no extra glass piece floating around in the box. Still looking to get this one replaced. Other than that, great buy!

These mugs are perfect and inexpensive.

I purchased these mugs for my daughter's baby shower. The mugs held just the right amount of coffee and this product held up well as guests were able to enjoy a hot beverage comfortably while mingling with others. On the down side, I purchased a set of twelve and unfortunately, one arrived broken.

keep my coffee hot and easy to drink from. well made of thicker glass than most mugs. they are small compared to other larger mugs. you can also drink beer form them...good glass for entertaining. would buy again

What could be better? Made in USA. Beautiful design. Sturdy. Keeps coffee and tea hot. The handle does not get hot. These are a pleasure to use each day and a treat for entertaining.

great value for you money with these glasses, similar glasses you usually only get 4 for around the same price, my only complaint is the placement of anchor hockings stickers, they place a large sticker with the company name on the side and the glue was a real pain to get off and left marks on the sides, if the stickers were on the bottom it would not be an issue, other than that, great glasses for a great price

I really like these. I prefer a smaller cup of coffee, and these are perfectly compatible with the cup sizes that my espresso maker produces. If making a milky coffee it's also nice to see the funky layers! Overall these seem very well made - no issues with breakage. They aren't like some glass mugs you get that you feel will break just by setting it on the counter. Glad I purchased these to go with my new espresso maker :)

I love anchor glass, but 4 of these came chipped or cracked. No plastic packing which is nice, but now I’ve got 4 cups I can’t use. Perhaps they should have wrapped each cup in packing paper too? The 8 that aren’t chipped or cracked look great even stamped USA so I know it’s real anchor. However, now I have to deal with a return which is a big hassle!

The packing wasn't good! 2 mugs arrived broken and one damaged from the bottom. It looks good otherwise.
