I purchased these to replace an older, less expensive, set whose finish was flaking off. This new set is nicely-finished and more substantial than the old ones I tossed out. I've used these once and am pleased with the results - I butter the inside of the rings (this works better than wiping them with cooking oil or using cooking sprays). There was no leakage onto the griddle and the eggs released with no sticking. Clean-up is easy since there is no cooked-on egg to deal with. The product notes say they are dishwasher safe but I've always hand washed my egg rings and these are a breeze to wash. I am pleased with this purchase.

These rings work perfectly for eggs on the breakfast egg sandwich we have for our Holiday Bazaar at church.

Good value for the money. Well made and great size for sandwiches. A little effort needed to clean if you don’t spray the rings first.

I had a silicone egg ring that didn't get used that often but was vital to make an egg sandwich that would fit neatly in a English muffin. Then I started reading about potential issues with silicone that is subjected to extremely high heat and the differences between different types of silicone. I confirmed that my old egg ring was of a type that should not be exposed to high heat…so I retired it. I shopped a lot to find a non-silicone replacement. I ideally wanted one made of carbon steel as I did not want to deal with any non-stick coating that would not last. Many rings were too small and a few rings (more for pancakes) were too large. These were about the same size as my original egg ring. They do not appear to have a non-stick coating, but if there IS a coating and it begins to crack or flake, I will remove it and take them down to bare metal. I really wanted one but would have been happy to have two... but settled for buying this set as it had everything else I was looking for. I may find a use for all four at once if I decide to use them for something other than just cooking one or two eggs in a pan. For use with eggs, I butter the pan and wipe some melted butter around the inside of the ring. Once the egg has cooked until it is set, the ring can be easily lifted away without any sticking.

These work very well. I use the to make copy cat "Whataburger Breakfast on a Bun - BOB" sandwiches. I use them to not just cook the eggs but make the sausage patties and cheese the same size as the buns. The folding handles are nice for storage. I'm glad I read the fine print on the box which said to use cooking spray and preheat them on the cooking surface. I cook on a flat griddle and leakage is minimum. I have noticed that if I cook them until there is only a little bit of liquid on the top. Then I run a knife or fork around the circle to separate the egg from the metal before removing the ring makes flipping the eggs much easier and makes for a "prettier" making the sandwich. Cleanup is easy since I use the cooking spray. The seem very durable. I've used them four times now and can't see any difference in the ring. I'm glad I bought the four pack so that I use them for different parts of the preparation so that is a good value also. Yes I do recommend this product.
