This set of chalk and chalkboard eraser is just what I needed for my new-to-me antique chalkboard. I appreciate that the chalkboard eraser is natural wood so you can stain it to whatever tone you want, or, leave it as is. So far I have one coat of “driftwood” stain on the eraser and it already looks more complimentary to my old and weather piece. Will likely add a second coat to make it just a touch darker. Chalk and eraser work well and as they should. Eraser fits nicely in the hand, but isn’t so big it won’t rest well on a narrow edge, like my chalkboard has. Convenient to have altogether— especially if you are choosing this as a gift for someone. Recommended.

The chalk is chalk but the eraser is really well made. It has thick pile and a good handle.

Great product with wide array of colors

There are several problems with this chalk: 1. Far from “dustless,” it is extremely dusty! 2. The colors on the box are misleading—not every color is included (no white!). 3. All the pieces break in half easily, meaning you’re stuck with a bunch of half sticks of chalk that won’t fit back in the box, which, due to the aforementioned dustiness, proceed to get everything dirty. Spend a little more for a much better experience!

I got this because I purchased a piece of furniture for my guest room that had a chalkboard on it. I thought it would be a cute idea to be able to wait a welcome note to my guests. The colors are great and the eraser works well. The only thing about it is that because they are thin, they do break off easily. I find that I have to be very careful when I write with them. However, other than that, they're the good quality that we've always known with Crayola! I definitely think this set is worth the money But I do think it would be very frustrating and counterproductive for children if they continually break off into small pieces.
