Mystical Manga Tarot

This is downright GORGEOUS! And it's not a joke deck or just some artistic take on it for the fun of it. The creators made a genuine tarot deck and book with the most beautiful well thought out anime artwork! The book is very extensive too. Easy for beginners and lots of good advice. Whether you're into tarot seriously or not, it's gorgeous and whimsical and I highly recommend!

This deck is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so glad I bought the regular version instead of the mini. The box is beautiful, sturdy, and big; the book is a work of art, with a lot of information even for more seasoned readers (the Fool's Journey is a touch that every book should include); and the cards are fantastic. Rann's illustrations are loosely inspired by the RWS meanings—some cards resemble more of the original RWS deck than others—but they speak loudly and deeply. This deck doesn't rely so much on symbolism, but on facial expressions and gestures, being more character than role-driven. It conveys deep messages with clarity, emotion, and precision. I'm not a huge fan of anime/manga, but these transcend the style. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite decks.

This is a beautiful deck, a little thinner card stock than the others I have but the art is stunning. My favorite part is the guidebook though, this is a phenomenal guidebook. Full color, wonderfully worded, fantastic descriptions. It is basically a "tarot 101" book. It's FULL SIZE and I'm surprised this book comes with the deck and isn't separately sold considering how great it is. This is the perfect deck for a beginner, the art is easy to read and yet complex enough to have some amazing symbolism if you look a little deeper. ALL of the cards are unique, there are no wasteful "throwaway" cards. ALL of the art was obviously given love.

This deck was bought as a gift I gave to my daughter. We are both learning together, and this was just the perfect deck for her! She is 19, and I truly wish you all could have seen her face when she received this gift. The moment her eyes hit it, ..lets just say this mom knew I had chosen correct for her first deck. The energy in the room cranked up quite a few notches as I sat watching her go through all of these beautiful cards, excited, showing me her "favs" (which were all of them..lol), there really are no words to describe the experience. OK, as for the cards themselves, I had bought two different sets, one for her, and a different one for me. Both came packaged together, rather quickly I might add, both protected by clear cellophane. The box on this deck is gorgeous, sturdy, and grabs your attention right off the bat, especially if you enjoy Manga artwork. Taking the deck out, it is covered with cellophane as well, easily removed. I just can not say enough how beautiful the artwork is on each card. It truly is a treat to the eye. The box set also comes with a beautiful full color book explaining everything you need to know about each card in this set. The book really is filled with alot of information to help you on your journey using this deck. I sat and honestly thanked my guides for steering me in this direction for my daughters first deck and adventure into Tarot. It was an experience I will never forget, and allowed me to connect with my daughter on an even deeper level than before. Much love to all

I love the artwork and the packaging makes it very convenient to put on a shelf. The cards are very nice. Unfortunately for me, I'm still trying to learn how to read tarot and should have gotten a beginner deck, since I have to keep referring to the book. I love this deck because it's very nice and pretty.

PROS: The box for this deck is nice and sturdy with a magnet closure and a recession on the inside to keep the cards in. The book is also very nice with a silk cover and full color glossy inside pages (highly unusual for one of these sets). The artwork is also fantastic and is very true to the look and feel of an actual manga. The colors in the illustrations are vivid and very pretty. CONS: It's clear that the majority of the production budget for this set went into the box and book as opposed to the cards. Personally, I would rather it be the other way around as the cards are the actual tool and can function on their own without the other two pieces. They are thinner than a lot of my other decks and VERY glossy to the point of being a bit slippery. Also, I'm a huge fan of Barbara Moore (this is my 7th tarot deck and 5 of them have books by Barbara), and I feel like her interpretations in this book don't relate back to the artwork in the same way that they do in some of her others, like the Steampunk Tarot and the Shadowscapes deck. They are more general, but the artwork relates well to the traditional Rider-Waite imagery, so it still works out. The setbacks are minor and I would still recommend this deck to anyone with a passion for manga, you will not be disappointed!

I practice wiccan faith and was looking for a good tarot deck, so i purchased this one. I couldn’t be happier with this product. The deck comes in a box to hold the cards along with a book that teaches you beginner tarot spreads and the meanings of each card and it’s significance. The box that the cards come in is made of great material and has a beautiful presentation, as well as the cards and paperback book. The manga style is simply gorgeous and suits my style very well! I have used this deck for over a year now and honestly i am so glad i went with this deck. The descriptions of the cards are in AMAZING detail and perfectly explain each and every card in ways you couldn’t believe. I highly recommend this deck to any and all who practice and use tarot decks! it’s also great for everyday use and for the price it is DEFINITELY worth every cent!

Je vous recommande ce tarot sans aucune hésitation. Le jeu est magnifique, chapeau bas à l'artiste française Rann. Si vous êtes sensible au dessin de ce tarot, foncez ! Il vaut mieux tirer les cartes avec des dessins qui nous parlent que avec un tarot où les dessins ne nous plaisent pas! Concernant la qualité du tarot, la boîte est assez grosse / grande, plastifiée, sublime. Le livre est écrit par une femme très talentueuse, pour les débutants en anglais: c'est très accessible. Elle n'emploi pas des mots trop complexe, honnêtement je suis pas bilingue anglais, j'ai quelques difficultés en langues mais je le lis plutôt facilement et rien ne m'empêche de traduire 1/2 mots de temps en temps si je comprends pas avec google traduction. Vous avez dedans, l'explication du tarot, les différentes formes de croyances liés au tarot, la magie, la psycologique, les esprits, la divination, etc Des exemples de tirages et les explications de toutes les cartes du tarot ! Et également une FAQ qui répond aux questions un peu compliqué "peut-on prédire la mort?" etc c'est un livre très ouvert d'esprit qui veut vraiment vous laissez choisir votre manière de tirer les cartes, ça vous explique vraiment tous les aspects de la tarologie donc foncez! Concernant les cartes, elles sont plus grande qu'un jeu de carte normal mais tiennent dans mes mains (femme - 20 ans) donc parfaite taille pour moi ! Elles sont brillantes et glissent super bien ! La qualité est top! Je n'ai pas eu assez de jeu de tarot pour vous dire si elles sont assez épaisse ou non, personnellement je les trouve épaisse mais bon ce n'est pas non plus du carton! Voila, faites vous plaisir, ce jeu est génial, ne vous fiez pas à la date de livraison, ça m'a annoncer 3 semaines de livraison, la vérité est que le tarot vient d'angleterre (pour moi en France) et que le délais est d'environs 5-6 jours, donc la semaine suivante vous pouvez le recevoir :D Voila, merci au vendeur et je suis vraiment ravie

I'm brand new to the practice of Tarot. I kept being drawn back to these cards just by how beautiful they were. The artwork is beautiful and very intuitive, and the guidebook is very comprehensive and helpful with meanings for each card and taking you through practice readings and showing you a few different spreads you can try. I've done a few readings for myself now that I've attuned to them and they've given some incredibly accurate readings so far. Would recommend!

Deck is very beautiful. More for anime and manga lovers, but it is also good in answering, in spreads I mean. Pictures on cards are very nice, and symbolical it is close to a classic Tarot. Same symbols. Quality of the deck is ok. Could be better, but-ok. For my opinion cards could be a little bit thicker. But images are wonderful. 5 stars for artist.
