my favorite tea
This jasmine tea is absolutely delightful! The aroma is fragrant and soothing, and the flavor is perfectly balanced—light, floral, and refreshing. It brews easily and makes every cup feel like a calming, luxurious treat. It’s become my go-to tea for mornings or relaxing evenings. Definitely a 5-star favorite!

One Of The Finest Jasmine Bag Teas I Have Found!
Yamamotoyama Jasmine tea has an exceptionally pleasant flavor and aroma. One of the best bag Jasmine teas I have encountered in this country. Over the past year, I have purchased eight different brands of Jasmine bag tea on Amazon. This assortment has ranged from quite good to so bland that I returned it for a refund. Yamamotoyama Jasmine tea ranks among the very best in my book. I have lived and traveled throughout Asia for much of my life. There, I developed a deep appreciation for this elegant and fragrant tea while traveling in the coastal province of Fujian in China -- considered the epicenter of Jasmine tea. Loose Jasmine tea or small tea balls (called pearls) are most common in that part of the world. Here in the USA, we do like our convenience. There are certainly a handful of fine bag teas that rival top quality loose or pearl Jasmine tea -- what some purists claim is the ultimate form of Jasmine tea. I've enjoyed all three forms many times in many countries. I suspect there are very few people if any who could reliably detect a quality difference between truly excellent bag, pearl or loose Jasmine tea in a double-blind test -- despite all the popular hype and puffery to the contrary. The exotic perfumy bouquet and subtle flowery taste of Jasmine petals blended with a fine tea (either green, white or black tea) bring back many fond memories in every cup. I drink this tea daily because I have a fondness for the taste experience, especially first thing in the morning. I'm not a food neurotic, so I have no interest in the many questionable claims about the supposed cleansing properties, the touted anti-oxidant components, or the consciousness raising qualities of this "don't panic, it's organic" beverage. It is not medicine nor a psychoactive substance, it's tea. Jasmine flower (originally coming from Persia) has been enjoyed in tea for over a thousand years. As much as I'm an ardent fan of this uniquely flavored tea, I have not once levitated or achieved Nirvana while drinking it. Sorry to disappoint. However, I do experience a lovely warm feeling when enjoying this wonderful tea that often gives me pause and puts a smile on my face. I'm not sure I could ask more from this simple but alluring beverage. I hope you too will frequently enjoy Yamamotoyama Jasmine tea.

good, not exquisite; better than my everyday
Compared to the dozen jasmines I've tried, this one is a very nice alternative -- not best I've ordered, but far above the locally available majority. Judging it on jasmine infusion, I give it a "Really Nice" (not exquisite). Scent slightly more jasminy than flavor. Judging it as a green tea, I give it a grade of "Quite Good" -- it is mild and delicious with no grassy or cheap taste; NO bitterness if oversteeped. I left the bag in forever and the taste remained smooth. It makes a very decent 2nd-steeped cup, and I rarely say that about any tea that didn't come hand delivered from Asia by a friend. It will be a jasmine tea I save for once a week, or for company. For daily I'll continue to rely on my Two Leaves+Bud, loose leaf. The Yamamotoyama tastes better than the 2Leaves+Bud, but costs more than double.

Not impressed
I was disappointed that there was very little jasmine taste. The tea was very bland. I would not recommend if you are looking for a good jasmine flavor.

Hot Leaf Juice! I disliked this brand of Jasmine Tea
I wanted to try Jasmine Tea, I ordered this one but didn't want to wait for it to come in so I bought Jasmine Tea at my local Whole Foods. That tea was wonderful so I was looking forward to making my own at home. After trying this tea I was disgusted, it was not as smooth as other Jasmine Tea I had tried before and after tasting this one. It has a wonderful scent, but I want tea, not potpourri. In short after made it isn't tea, but Hot Leaf Juice. I don't like the this tea, and will not buy any other Yamamotoyama teas. Jasmine Tea is wonderful, floral, and sweet. If you do want to drink Jasmine Tea try a different brand.
