Great Color
The color red dye for my dog really brighten him up especially for his whole body.(His fur color is brown) It makes him get ready for being Clifford the Red Big Dog for this Halloween. It takes 40 minutes for it to dry and wash off unfortunately some parts of the fur didn't take the red color. I could say it is somewhat permanent depending on your dog fur. Also it's human friendly if the red dye goes to your skin it could easily take off with lysol whips.

Seemed to do the job.
I’ll start with the application, always wear gloves! I didn’t, thinking it was only a few minutes of use and it would wash off…nope. Went to work and did life for almost a week with bright pink hands. The color itself faded quite a bit when used on my white dog for the maximum amount of time. It was supposed to be red but looked very pink which was fine because Valentine’s Day was coming up. It hasn’t rubbed off on any furniture but does tinge the water when he’s wet so there does have to be consciousness and he needs to be fully dry before letting him get near soft surfaces. It’s been about a month and he’s still pretty pink. Overall I did like it but will be trying different brands until finding one that just fades instead of bleeding color.

For more red color, let it sit longer and use more product!
This dye was super easy to use and gentle on my dog's skin and hair. I used a lot of product and let it sit for a full 45 minutes because I wanted it to be as red as possible. I was worried it might fade quickly or that the dye would stain things around my house, but nope! It's perfect! This picture is taken 3 weeks after I dyed her bracelets and it's still pretty vivid. She gets a lot of compliments and loves the attention! Super easy and fun way to spice up your dog's look!

Not as red as advertised
This was gentle and easy to use on the dog. The color was vibrant and stayed well. However, it was more of a dark pinkish color than a red. It's not how it looks in the photo.

Not "hot" nor "red"
I knew getting a super saturated color might be a challenge, but I thought with the color name "hot red" that it would at least be red. I applied this to my dog's white tail tip. I put it on while we were outdoors and planned to wash it off after about twenty minutes, but lost track of time while the dogs were playing and I was doing yardwork. Almost an hour later, we went inside to wash it off. Even after being on for so long - and on white fur - it only left behind a disappointing orange-pink kind of tone. I wouldn't call it red at all. I would steer clear from the red color unless you want some kind of color people stare at and go "is it... pink? is it orange?" because I literally got that exact reaction from two separate people.
