Delivered Promptly. Works as described.
Small lightweight device. Cables provided satisfactory for power and signal links. Works as expected. Volume control needed to be set near maximum for adequate signal strength input to Hi-fi amplifier. As described on page, no RCA cables provided as expected. I made sure I had a set before ordering.

A Good DAC At Last
Gave the Prozor 4 stars, as I have not had it long enough to assess reliability. Well built unit with good sound and great volume control. The sound quality and clarity is better than my previous set up.Previously had a separate headphone DAC and amplifier, both also Chinese made. These and other Chinese made electrical items I have had all have atrocious connections, particularly 3.5mm jack plugs. It seems that a lot of Chinese companies do not understand limits/fits and tolerances. My previous DAC had continual issues with losing connectivity and the headphone amp worked for one hour and hasn't worked since. The Prozor's connections appear to be good and I have had no issues. It does what it should do, sit there and work. Also, unlike my previous DAC, the Prozor has an RFI choke on the 5v power cable. I can now put it close to my HiFi systems amp, without getting interference on the headphones.

Impressed how good this for use with my Xbox Series X
I was a little skeptical about this item due to price compared to professional DAC kit like the professional iFi Dac 2 costing around £150 and that being lowest end of the price band, and going up into the thousands for top end like the Chord Qutest kit, but the sound out of this device was impressive, even the volume was way more than you'll ever need for headsets, i had to turn it down to be usable, for me I needed something for my Xbox due to controller auto turning off after 15 mins when sim racing with a Logitech racing wheel. This is seriously annoying and taking batteries out and plugging controller in directly was not fixing the issues on the controller, so after reading some reviews around, some had used something like this to get around it, all you need is for your TV to have a coaxial output or Optical Toslink output which most modern TV's do these days, this device worked straight out of the box, no messing around with any setting on TV at all. I've also plugged it into my Cambridge Audio kit later to hear how well the sound throughput is, and it's not an all singing all dancing sound system, but the sound for me sounded great, it's done the job perfectly. I honestly couldn't tell the difference in sound quality from the headset being plugged into my controller or through this, so happy days, and no more reaching for the darn controller to turn it back on again while in the middle of a race.

Simple
Once we'd figured out to connect this to the TV via a YouTube video it was quite simple

Great little DAC
If you haven't got or tried an external DAC, this is a MUST TRY for a few quid. This is a great sounding little DAC, I tried it just because of it's ridiculously low price and thought it was going to be useless. I WAS WRONG!This sounds great. I've attached it to an old but was top of the range Sony amplifier and difference in sound quality is amazing.Best sound quality increase for the price I've ever found.I recommend it highly, Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Huge performance comes in a small package
I don't often write reviews but this little box of magic is so good it thoroughly deserves it. I bought this simply to give a games console and DVD player in a spare room, the ability to have an analogue output via the optical connection (I already have a HDMI switchbox with optical output), but with the added bonus of it having a headphone amp built in.My main amplifer for everyday entertainment is a Yamaha RX-A3050, which a couple of years ago was their flagship AV amp with a list price of ~£2000, and my headphones are Sennheiser HD-650s (~£400) so I'm well aware of what decent kit should sound like (I also use a ProJect Headbox S headphone amp too, which is ~£100) , but am absolutely astonished at how good this little 192kHz DAC/Amp sounds. Obviously, it's not as good as the Yamaha, but then nobody would expect that, but I'd confidently say this thing is giving ~80-90% of the quality/performance for 1% (yes, 1/100th) of the cost of the Yamaha at £20 (and 1/5th of the cost of my ProJect amplifier), not to mention the ridiculous size differential of the two, and bearing in mind I'm using it with pretty decent audiophile headphones, so for most people who don't have such gear, they simply wouldn't tell the difference. I certainly have no complaints about the quality as it's more than acceptable, not to mention it seems pretty capable of driving such headphones which is surprising when you consider its small size. The only downside I've encountered is the volume dial was quite sensitve when I first used it, though it seemed to get better once it was used so perhaps simply using it and warming it up has helped give it a running in.In conclusion, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for either a DAC or headphone amplifier. And if the electronics in it last a long time (only time will tell), I'd confidently say it's probably the best £20 I've ever spent.

Defective
I bought this a few days ago thinking that it will work! Connected the optical to my TV output to the optical input on the device. Then connected 2x RCA output on the device to XLR input on my speakers - no sound whatsoever! Also it just says “5v power” which is incredibly vague but I’ve determined it needs a minimal of 5v 3a to power.I tried work arounds, changing audio settings on my TV, again to no avail. It’s a defective unit and I highly advise not to purchase this!I’ve already spent a lot getting the bits and pieces to connect it all, I’m just at a point of “screw it, I can’t be bothered spending more money, and then it may still not work…”
