Well made. Germans steal. Comes with a protective sheath and more. Nice case to store. Gave it as a gift and my brother loves it. Very sharp (As knives are supposed to be) And should not be kept were children can get a hold of it. I spent many hours comparing knives, and this is the one!

The knife was recieved in a box that was in very good condition. The condition of the knife, sharpener, and guard were was new as advertised. The knife itself is of good quality and handles great. Highly recommend it.

Loved the presentation right out of the box...ok, maybe from the box! The packaging is fantastic, it has a nice magnetic flap that opens to reveal the beautiful blade inside, very impressed with the presentation! Starting with the looks, it's impressive. The Damascus like pattern finish looks great - just know this is not a true Damascus steel knife - but it still looks great! The high polish and mirror like shine just jump right out, makes you want to display and not hide in the enclosed sheath or drawer. If you're particular about your knife steel, this is EN1.4116 which is a low-end high-carbon stainless steel, in simple terms - it's a strong steel, holds a nice edge, and is durable enough for kitchen duty which involves lots of moisture. In terms of performance, the knife is full tang but the expanded product image shows that it's not solid steel in the handle which means the knife feels less substantial than a higher-end knife. Cutting wise, the blade is balanced well enough and cuts effortlessly. Overall, this is an excellent home kitchen knife that just looks fantastic and has more than enough steel to outperform most knives from any big box retailer, definitely love having this knife, cheers!

I love this knife but it rusted within two days even though it said it was rust proof. Really sad and I hand wash every time and don't leave it in the sink.
