Solid flashlight with the are memory feature. Get it for that alone but wait for a sale
This lights up really well very bright with the optional 18 650 battery (you must purchase separately) I haven’t even tried it with AAA‘s yet but I don’t think I will. The memory feature is very nice. in the past I’ve had flashlights like this without that feature and it’s quite annoying every time you turn it off you cycle back through the colors to get to where you were. This is pretty decent trade-off between functionality and usability and the price was right too.

Crazy bright colors!!
Bought just for fun and overall is great! I know some reviewers mention when focused that it turns into a square, but who cares, that’s actually pretty cool since you can literally focus down to the led! What’s even cooler is switching between the colors while focused, you can see each led switch against the wall! Once you start bringing the focus out, it’s round right away. Button and memory work well. No issues yet!

Fun
Fun and powerful light with multiple colors. In order to change the colors you only need to "press lightly" the button (when it's already on). Only drawback is that I guess it consumes to much power (which I like) so with some "light to moderate" use after a few days was already blinking and needed a change of batteries. I guess using this in an adventure would be risky.

Great for night hikes.
Just what I was looking for. Has a few odd quirks. The red and white LED elements are side by side so the beam shifts when the colors change; neither one is at the exact center of the lens. As others have noted, the zoom slider moves pretty freely, could have used more drag. But I could not find another with the exact features I wanted, so overall happy.

Super bright. Nicely compact.
I bought this to use on an extended sailing trip where maintaining night vision was critical and space was at a premium in my bag and on the boat. It's very compact and has a very solid feel. The white and red beams are both super bright, but can be adjusted. The other great feature is the width of the beam can be adjusted. The red night vision light works great. I highly recommend.

Great price
Let me start by saying I’m a flashlight snob. I like high end expensive flashlights. These are not those, however, they are exactly what I expected and I am therefore happy with my purchase. The low lumen red function (would have liked an even dimmer red) was what I needed. The fact that the lights also have white light and bright red functions is a plus, but ONLY because the memory function allows me to turn on the light in the low lumen red without having to cycle through the other functions.I also picked these lights for the reason that they can use 18650 rechargeable batteries which all my other rechargeable flashlights (save one) use. The fact that these lights can also be powered by three AAA batteries is a nice feature as I also have non rechargeable lights and other devices that run on AAA batteries.I’m not going to test the IPX waterproof rating. The lights will be weatherproof at best, so if I absolutely have to take one of them out into a rainstorm I expect it to be okay for a short period of time, but I also expect it to fail at some unknown point. A light drizzle I wouldn’t worry about at all. I also took the precaution of lubricating the threads and “O” ring with petroleum jelly which helps create a better seal and preserves the “O” ring. I also should mention here that I don’t believe the flashlights to be particularly rugged. They might survive a drop or two, but after that I would expect the electronics to be subject to failure. That’s an acceptable outcome for this price range and for general purpose use.The lanyard is nice and can be removed if desired. The pocket clip, however, doesn’t secure well enough to the flashlight body for me to have confidence carrying the light clipped to a strap, belt, or otherwise outside of a pocket. I’m pretty sure a mild bump would result in the light popping out of the pocket clip. Of course the upside to this is that the pocket clip is easily removed. The floodlight to spotlight zoom function works well but with the caveat that in its tightest spotlight the projected light is square. Odd and undesirable, but not a dealbreaker for me.Other reviewers have mentioned the peculiarities of the tailcap switch, and I agree that it’s “funky”. It takes a very firm press to turn the light on, but then it is only a surprisingly light touch of the switch that changes modes. There was a very short learning curve through experimentation to understand how to use the switch without accidentally changing from one mode to another. Not a problem, but it does leave me with cause for concern how well the switch will continue to operate over time. One nice thing about the switch is that it is recessed enough within the tailcap that the light can be stood on the tailcap and used as a candle. I’ve always found that feature to be handy in the house during a power outage.Overall I feel like I got what I paid for and have no complaints. If I encounter any problems near term, I’ll update this review.
