V effective for hot climate with rain
My son wore this in Kenya when weather v unpredictable. He reported back that it was cool to wear and kept rain out. Zip quality excellent. We got this item reduced, so was v good value for money

The zip is awful to use , doesn’t engage after many attempts. Good waterproofing .

Really long sleeves!
I got XXL because am over 6 foot. The sleeves are well long so I turn them up. Should of gone for an XL really!! But still good!!

Well designed jacket.
Good to see that North Face are still manufacturing good quality light weight weather proof jackets. I haven't worked out how to stow the hood yet.

Just what I was looking for!
For several years I’ve been looking for a breathable, light, water proof, jacket I could wear during those warm humid rainy summer days. Some I found were very expensive, or were not really breathable, or that light. I’m really a Timberland fan, but sadly Timberland doesn’t offer a jacket like this that even comes close.

The only downside that large is a medium in size. I guess the large for slim people.
