I absolutely love my seat. At the moment don’t need to sit as not too old, but it is so nice to have it if I need it. It’s solid, good looking and works.

great quality shower seat. As a tile layer I do a lot of walk in showers. I order these frequently to install.

We loved this at first, but the left hinge broke after 3 months. This was after being used a couple times a week by a 170 pound man. It sucks because installing this meant drilling into the tile, 5 screws for each bracket. So now what? I don’t trust a direct replacement. Removing it means exposing the TEN installation holes in our beautiful newly renovated shower. So disappointing. Both of the smaller diameter pins have rusted through and broken. The two larger diameter pins have started rusting. The rust residue also dripped down my new tile and stained the white grout.

PRO: I like the simple look. Folds up & down easily. Very sturdy when anchored properly. CON: Must have a 2x6 board behind the tile + 3" long screws to hold it steady. Tile guy put in a board behind the tile before installing. 2" screws were not long enough; seat was pulling away from the wall. Had to come back & use 3" screws. I recommend this seat when installed properly.

Tore out our old tub and built a walk-in shower in our master bathroom. This was a perfect fit. Did our remodel over a year ago and the bench still looks as new as the day we installed it. It cleans well, functions well, and still holding up great! Worth ever penny we spent on it.

We're renovating a bathroom to prepare for aging in place, and he wanted some type of seat for his new walk-in shower. He picked this bench out & is thrilled with it. He can now sit down and not have to balance on one leg to wash his feet. He also tends to frequently get lightheaded, so when it happens in the shower I no longer have to worry about him as much

If you do not have any studs to use in your shower don't bother using the anchors that come with the kit, we had go go to hardware store and purchased butterfly anchors those worked much better. Then we made a brace for under the chair just in case the seat pulled out of wall

Poor design for something that will be around water. The chrome cover, which by the way is more of a smoky gray chrome, has an opening that will allow water to get in and pool at the base of the cover. The teak and metal are nice looking but the support hardware is not as robust as the folding bench I'm needing to replace.

THE FOLD DOWN SEAT IS A USEFUL SPOT IN MY NEWLY RENOVATED SHOWER. I USE IT TO OF COURSE TO SIT ON BUT ALSO TO PLACE MY OBJECTS ON. WHEN INSTALLING THIS SEAT EXTRA SUPPORT HAD TO BE ADDED IN THE WALL BEFORE THE TILE WAS INSTALLED. THIS WAS NECESSARY TO PROVIDE STRUCTUAL SUPPORT SO THE SEAT CAN SAFELY HOLD BODY WEIGHT. OR THE INSTALLER MUST BE ABLE TO INSTALL THE SEAT BY ACCCESSING THE 2X4"S IT MUST BE SECURLY INSTALLED SO IT CAN SAFELY HOLD BODY WEIGHT! IT LOOKS NICE IN THE SHOWER!

The install instructions were not existent. I had a professional contractor and tile installer present to install this in a new walk in shower project. The seat itself was beautiful teak. The plastic seat supports would not even support hand pressure without moving and breaking away from wall No tile was installed and the seat would not stay in the up position. It certainly would not last very long if a real person was sitting on it Do not buy this

I have tried to reach for tech support but could not get a hold of nobody. We bought this article in October 2023 but were only able to get our bathroom reno done this month. Today, we tried to install the wall mounted chair only to find out there are either screws or something else missing. We cannot use the item due to the weight of the seat lays directly on the plastic part of the mount. Needless to say, if we try to use the seat as is, the plastic cover will break....From what we can figure, there should be something screwed into the dented hole (3rd pic). Hopefully an appointed employee of from Amazon will answer this 'review'.

One of the brackets was not formed correctly. (The one on the right) it will not allow the cover to stay seated on the wall. As soon as weight is applied it pulls from the wall. On both sides but worse on the flawed bracket. As long as the brackets are sealed water shouldn’t be an issue. It’s cosmetic but would be nice to have the covers sealed as well.
