Listen, stir straws are stir straws. It's pretty hard to get them wrong. This product functions exactly as it should: it allows me to stir my coffee and even take a couple sips. So far, brilliant. However. I thought I'd be a bit daring this time and get the red straws instead of my tried-and-true black. Little did I realize that the makers of this otherwise fine product either struggle with red-green color blindness (no judgment here) or have a much broader definition of "red" than, say, a dictionary does. The stir straws I got were the perfect color if I needed to stir my coffee while I was hunting. Rather than red, they are, in fact, a rather bright orange. If you're good with that, order away. If like me, however, you have a wife that doesn't appreciate the unexpected addition of a garish orange to her tidy and fetching coffee tray, stick with the black.
