No more fleas
The Advantage for older cats work great and last 3 months. I have purchased twice and will purchase again. Make sure you separate the fur so you can apply it to the skin at the base of the scull to prevent your cat from licking the Advantage. In 4 hours your cat will stop scratching and cleaning itself and will rest and go to sleep. It’s a great value for the money.

Finally something that works!
My poor cats have had fleas for months. I used to run a flea comb and take out 20-30 fleas from both cats. I tried so many thinks. Flea bath wasn’t enough. Got some flea traps, helped but didn’t solve the issue. Had bought the one month version of this product and there was no difference. This finally worked!! I just ran the comb through them and I’ve only seen 2 fleas.

Worked great for almost 4 weeks
This product has worked great, but now that it’s been almost one month, my cats fleas are returning and he is scratching and getting sores again. He has a flea allergy. His fur had began growing back and he had became much more playful and happy but I was hoping for the product to last the full 2 months. Still better than the regular advantage which lasts maybe 2 weeks. You have to be careful opening it, the lid doesn’t come off, it twists up to open. The instructions do not clarify and I spent probably 15 mins trying to take off the lid. You can easily waste the product like that by squeezing it while trying to remove the lid.

easy and it works
The day before the hurricane, we were rescued a mother, and two of her three babies sadly, we could not get the third she stayed hidden under a trailer. No one could seem to catch her, especially without hurting her. We were sick about it because it was quite a storm. Bittersweet we got her two days later, but she only lived two weeks. I don’t know besides being runt might’ve been going on. she took to me right away and the whole time here except to go potty she was sleep on my neck cuddled me. She ate well, but never gained weight because of the storm. There were no vets to get to right away. I don’t know if she had a seizure or what but we lost her anyway, this is about the product. I couldn’t put it on the babies. They were too small, but I put it on and what’s great is. It’s good for two months. That evening she had stopped scratching and running a flea come through. Her did not produce very much I am about to order another pack, it was also safe for her because often on they still nurse I did buy the three pack of the regular as well for the three kittens at the time. The surviving to are little chunky monkeys Free of fleas, I have another pack coming for them also. i’d love to use the one on mama on all of them, but it’s just not affordable right now we inherited a small colony of cats besides our hurricane babies Please everyone if you only have a couple of cats please get them fixed. You don’t realize how fast they pop them out most of the time they are inbred You are lucky if they live two weeks. The majority of the time the mothers will reject them almost immediately. They know the babies have problems so they tend to address the healthier. It’s a bit like triage for people you try to save the healthiest that will survive. look around there are places with low cost fees. We only have one. It’s hard to get appointments, but it’s only $35. You are going to pay a lot more than that and cat food and talk about MEDICAL. If you love animals stop them from breeding kittens are grown by about six weeks of age and become little teenagers, I love them all but for people that want kittens you don’t keep them that long and stop the madness

Not happy, ruined my kittens fur.
Advantage XD I’m am not happy with. I will not put it on my kitten again. She is 8 months old, 6-7 pounds and it made her fur sticky and hard clumps/mats at application site. I applied it directly to her skin as instructed and of course it has to spread as all the topical products do, but it’s not an oily feel on the fur when it disperses, it’s made her fur very clumpy and sticky. It made mats in her fur at the site. I tried to wet her fur down, wipe it off with a wash cloth and a baby wipe and tried brushing her, but it’s pulling and hurting her to do so. It’s like a thin layer of dried syrup on that spot of her head/neck. When I brushed her, so much fur came out of that area I worried she was going to have an allergic skin reaction like a few of the reviews said, luckily skin irritation hasn’t happened. I really am dissatisfied with the product. I have used Advantage II on my previous cats and never have had this happen. The fur on the application site would get a little oily, but not dry like this. I figured I would try the XD since it’s every other month, but this changed my mind so I will not be using it again. Her silky fur is so gross to the touch right now in that area, I am so sad and disappointed. It may be doing its job with the fleas, I really don’t know cause I wanted to use it as a precaution on her. She is strictly indoor but we have a dog (which takes a flea preventative) that goes outside and could bring one in and we don’t want one to move over to her and infest her. After the 2 months are up and she is due for another treatment, I will be looking for a different product. Thankfully I only bought one dose of this stuff.

Kills about 80% of fleas. Just go to the Vet!
Give it some time. Be patient. I also used a flea comb simultaneously 4-5x per day until no living fleas were found. Consistency is key. Not saying this will work for everybody. This is just what worked for me. Good luck! Day 1: administered treatment as prescribed. Easy to use. Just twist and squeeze. It smells awful like gasoline or paint thinner. Luna was lethargic and inactive. Slept most of the day. Lasted for about 8 hrs. Appetite and poop were normal. Combed her 5x. Approximately 7-8 live fleas came out each time which means there’s probably hundreds more to go. They hide around her ears/head and the base of her tail. Luna was miserable. Still scratching, shaking her heading, and licking her hind legs. Day 2: continued to comb her 4x a day. Scratching had decreased to approximately 2-3x per hour. 6-7 live fleas found. Fleas were smaller but still alive. Perhaps they haven’t reached full adult yet? Idk. By night time, Luna was pretty much back to her normal self. Day 3: combed her in the morning. 9-10 dead fleas came out. Found dead fleas on the floor and on the blanket. But they were all dead ☠️ Hopefully this means the medication is working! Will continue to comb her 2 more times today. 9-DAY UPDATE: 7/7/2024- I really wanted this product to work but after 7 days, we continue to find 1-2 live fleas. 3 baths, daily combing and still no relief. Cat was still shaking her head, and scratching her neck. We finally took her to the vet and got prescription Revolution. Vet explained that Advantage XD only kills about 80% of fleas and they will reproduce again. We’re hopeful that the prescription will work.
