Awesome little computer and takes up no space.
Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I recently purchased the Beelink Mini PC with the AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed! As someone who needs a powerful yet compact system for both work and light gaming, this little powerhouse has exceeded all expectations. Performance: The Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U processor is a beast! With 8 cores and 16 threads, this mini PC handles everything I throw at it with ease—whether it's multi-tasking with several apps open, video editing, or running demanding software. The clock speed can reach up to 4.4GHz, which makes even intensive tasks feel smooth and fast. I noticed a substantial improvement in performance over my previous setup. Memory and Storage: With 16GB of DDR4 RAM, multitasking is seamless. I can run multiple virtual desktops, numerous browser tabs, and productivity software without any slowdown. The 500GB NVMe SSD is lightning fast, providing quick boot times and fast access to files. It’s more than enough for most tasks, and the performance boost from the SSD is noticeable in daily use. Design and Build Quality: The Beelink Mini PC is incredibly compact and well-built. It fits perfectly on my desk without taking up much space, yet feels sturdy and premium. The design is minimalistic, which I love, and it doesn’t draw attention to itself. Connectivity: There’s no shortage of ports here. The mini PC comes with multiple USB ports, HDMI outputs, and even Ethernet, which is perfect for both home and office setups. It also supports Wi-Fi 6, ensuring fast wireless connectivity. Noise and Cooling: The cooling system does a great job of keeping the PC quiet and efficient. Even under load, it remains surprisingly quiet, and I’ve never had any overheating issues. Final Thoughts: For anyone looking for a small, powerful, and reliable PC for work, study, or even light gaming, I highly recommend this tiny pc.

This is a surprisingly capable mini PC!
I purchased this mini PC on a lark after reading a review on PCWorld back in early October 2023. The review is highly favorable and this seemed to be a good option to replace my extremely noisy Intel NUC11PAHi7 system (with 11th gen Intel processor). The NUC was noisy from day 1 even when performing non-intensive tasks like browsing the web and launching applications, the NUC has been a source of disappointment from day one considering it cost nearly $1000 with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. In any event, initial setup for the Beelink was quick and easy and the system does indeed come with a Windows 11 Pro digital license (more on that in a moment). The case is mostly plastic but is well constructed and feels sturdy. Port selection is decent and comparable with other mini PCs. NOTE: the USB-A ports feel a bit "cheap" meaning flimsy, but it's not a deal breaker. Also, the white light on the power button is a bit bright, which may put some off, but it's absolutely minor and could be covered if need be. I ran the system through basic tests and I was very pleased to learn it performs on par with the NUC and most importantly, it does so VERY QUIETLY! After a week of testing various scenarios (not gaming) I decided to swap in the 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD from the NUC - that process went smoothly as well, the case is easy to open and everything inside is easily accessible. In the process of reinstalling Windows, I tweaked a few BIOS settings to my liking (for example, changed the graphics RAM allocation from 3GB of RAM to 2GB and changed the UEFI setting from custom to standard), no issues there either. The Beelink site itself is terrible if you're searching for drivers, this model isn't even listed on their support site. If you reinstall and need drivers, head over to the AMD site - the auto-update application will pull what you need for chipset and graphics drivers. The only issue after updating the components and reinstalling Windows is the system no longer recognized the Windows 11 Pro digital license - I could have popped the original SSD back in and run a Windows key extraction tool, but it was faster to purchase a $40 Windows 11 Pro license online. All in all, this system is capable, quiet and a joy to use. Definitely recommend! **UPDATE 12/9/2023** I decided to migrate my original Beelink SER5 in this review to be my Plex server connected to my home theater setup (LG OLED and Sonos Arc) - I added a 2TB SATA internal drive without issue to begin storing my DVD collection. It has been performing admirably in this new role. In any event, l purchased a Beelink SER5 MAX to replace it - the first one I received was extremely noisy as it was overheating and throttling badly. Amazon replaced it quickly and while the second SER5 MAX wasn't overheating the CPU fan was still VERY noisy when performing basic tasks like web browsing and opening apps, it was a huge disappointment after the positive experience with this model. I wound up purchasing this model again and returned the SER5 MAX for good. I am happy to report the same good things as the first one - it's quiet and very capable with day-to-day computing tasks. Highly recommend!

Great daily driver with some light gaming
I love the beelink brand and this AMD variant is no acception. The performance of windows 11 is great and the size is perfect for saving space on a desk. It connects to dual monitors which us also great and plays slightly older (and some newer games ) no problem. Steam and GOG games run great. I was surprised that both DOOM eternal and Skyrim/Fallout 4 run so well on the system. The AMD Radeon Graphics works well for older games like the borderlands franchise as well. Both Minecraft Java and Bedrock run seamlessly as well as some of valves older titles like the half life games. No overheating or slowdown at all. My only complaint is the suspicious beelink administration account that seems to be pre installed on the operating system which can be removed if you just clean install windows 11 or Linux. The price tag comlared to other SER5 machines is also great and the 16GB of DDR4 Is snappy (if not a bit outdated at this point.

great NUC for the office.
shame the tariffs are raising prices on these. we bought this one for much less a few months ago. fantastic little NUC. we have it running cpu intensive applications, and i have stress tested it, and this box just hums along, silently. a slight fan noise when its working hard. but we have 3 4k monitors and external ssd, and it works great. only thing it should have is ddr5. next one, when the tariffs go away.

Compact size and good performance!
I used a spare mini-PC in my home entertainment center when we moved in 3 years ago. It is now a 9 year old PC that I shouldn't have done the Windows 10 upgrade on. I decided to look for an affordable, small, quiet mini-PC to replace it and stumbled across the Beelink portfolio. Because I don't use it for gaming, I needed mid-range specs that could handle webinars and other streaming content. It also needed to not have to have a loud fan. The old PC had no fan and while this Beelink does have one, it is variable speed and sometimes doesn't run at all. When it does, it is so quiet you don't know it is running unless you put your ear right next to it. I can't believe that you can get a mini-PC with these components at this price. Why did I wait so long to replace the 9 year old dinosaur? Thanks Beelink!

HDMI output DOA And The "fix" didn't work. Now No Answers from Belink or Amazon UPDATED 10/31/2023
I have purchased two of these systems. The first one had ZERO issues when I booted it up. The second purchase has not gone as well. The second unit has no HDMI output, zero, nada, nil. Swapped out the HDMI cable, nope no fix. Downloaded the updated driver, nope no fix. Item was a present (of course) for my wife so it sat hidden until her birthday which (of course) was three day after the Amazon return window. Contacted Asurion as I put a two-year warranty on it and, yup........... no help because it's "covered" by Beelinks one year warranty. Contacted Beelink, got a message back with the "fix", nope doesn't work still no HDMI output to the monitor. Contacted Beelink notifying them that their "fix" didn't work and have heard nothing back. So, I've got a unit that has no HDMI output, a disappointed wife, and no help to get this resolved as of 10/23/2023. I will update this as if/when SOMEBODY helps me get it resolved. UPDATE: After ZERO contact from Beeline after an ineffectual "fix", 55 minutes on the phone with Amazon Customer Service the results is this: 1. Amazon has authorized the return and provided a return label. 2. My original purchase price is NOT THE CREDIT amount I will receive. 3. Amazon is charging me a $49 (!!!!) restocking fee for a defective product! 4. I am NOT BEING CREDITED for the amount I paid for the extended warranty on Beeline's defective item! I'll let you know how this plays out after I call them AGAIN about this current proposed rip off.

Small but powerful. Great for applications where space is at a premium
I bought this for use in a project. I needed something small, but feature rich. I have the same APU in my desktop, so I knew it could handle what I wanted. I haven't been disappointed. The little box is plenty fast. I'm not using it for gaming, but rather to replace the innards of a vintage portable computer. The space constraints were tight and this little guy was perfect. It's amazing that you can get something so powerful in such a small form factor. My hat's off to the Beelink team. It's an impressive little computer.
