Leomundās Tiny Loo (Wondrous Item, Rare, May Require Attunement)
I was definitely skeptical about buying a robot litter box. However, scooping the cat box is the single chore my husband and I both loathe equally. We recently adopted a second kitty who is much pickier about his litter box, bigger, and somehow produces double the waste of our first cat. So I broke down and invested in the Leoās Loo Too. After reading several reviews, I picked this item over the competitors because of the improved safety functions, UV sterilization, and frankly the chew-proof cord. Our older cat is a compulsive chewer, and I was really impressed by this detail. Smarty Pear really thought of everything! Our experience so far has been 5-star. Here are the pros and (singular) con weāve discovered: Pros: -No scooping! This is the biggest benefit and arguably worth every penny. -Waste drawer is a good size! Even our pair of prolific producers take 4-5 days to fill it up. -UV sterilization is nice, and definitely does reduce odors. We have our box tucked away in a closet under the stairs, and thereās definitely no odor noticeable in our house. -Even our big, picky cat adjusted with no problems. We removed the two boxes we had before and put this one in the same place with the same brand of litter, and both cats took to it right away. -Itās so quiet. We donāt even notice it running. -The app is nice and full-featured. Iāve never been so fascinated by my catsā bathroom schedule. Con: - The under-stair closet is the one place in our house that still has carpet, which interferes with the weight sensors (according to the instructions, the box has to be on solid flooring to have the weight sensors function properly). This isnāt a big deal to us as it still senses weight enough to run when it needs to run. But if you are buying this box because you want an accurate log of your catās weight, make sure youāre able to put your box somewhere with solid flooring and not carpet. We set the box up after work one evening, removed both the old litter boxes, and went to bed. The next morning, the app alerted me that eleven cleaning cycles had been run overnight. That seemed high, so I went to check the waste door and caught our big orange kitty stepping in and out of the box just so he could watch it spin. I changed the cleaning cycle to a three-minute delay, and weāre down to a normal number of cleaning cycles now. Both the cats and humans in our house are very happy with our purchase so far! ---- UPDATE: Two months in, I ran into an issue where the unit stopped rotating, and then once I got it to rotate again, it rotated constantly. Customer service was quick to assist via email, even on a weekend, and solved the issue (which was really not the unit's fault, as there was litter buildup in the wheels beneath the drum causing the initial problem). It was a simple fix, they got me up and running quickly, and were very helpful. The unit is working perfectly again. I'm glad I picked Smarty Pear!

Highly Efficient With Some Training
I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in an automatic litterbox that took clumping litter upon moving to a new apartment. (I had experienced scent problems with the crystal kind, and the rake getting stuck and then breaking thanks to my kittyās big poo.) Itās taken about two weeks for the kitties to get used to it with LOTS of bribery with high-reward foods (ham), placing it on a folded up paper towel to get my kitties interested in going inside. Once finished their little snack, Iād gently hoist their rears into the litterbox. My little kitty was the quickest to use it on her own. My fat cat was having issues getting inside due to the height of the entryway (sheās about 15lbs but fits inside well), so I filled a small Amazon box for her to use it as a stepstool and sheās been using the loo on her own now! I donāt have to smell any stinky midnight poops anymore, although the sound does stir me awake at the moment. Enough to go āwhatās happening? Oh! The cat used the litterbox. Yay⦠zzzā Iām sure with time Iāll get used to it, and either way, itās better than getting out of bed in the middle of the night. Setup took me about 20 minutes to properly maneuver the thing into place but otherwise, went smoothly enough. Customer service has been so helpful and kind with their recommendations. I definitely recommend this product if you have the time to train your kitties how to use it! Took about a week with the food ābribesā and Iād come home from work and train them for about 10-15 minutes. They were naturally curious about it but once I extended the wait time for the cycling they became more intrigued than spooked. Iām going to look into getting a little toddler potty training stepstool to replace my box so my big kitty can get in with ease⦠and style. šø UPDATE November 22: Over a month or so later, now my little kitty almost exclusively uses the Loo and my big kitty is getting used to it more now using it about every other day. Still doing more treat training. On the second Loo bag now, will probably be on third by end of the month. Well worth the investment! Although my little kitty wants to smack the litter when it moves now⦠Still beats scooping waste! UPDATE January 23: The cats both use the Loo for 75-90% of their restroom needs and prefer it over their regular litterbox (yay!). I don't even mind the fact I have to empty the loo about once a week; it saves so much time and effort that I can spend with my kitties more. As long as you keep the underneath compartment clean (if it gets too full and you pull the drawer out, some waste may topple out), I don't see why this wouldn't continue to keep everything FRESH. My mom visited me for Christmas and for once couldn't smell any litterboxes because of how great this product works. I also set it to not cycle during the night so it doesn't wake me or my boyfriend up at night, and I think this is what intrigued my chunkier cat into using the Loo somehow. 5/5, my last update I'll make. Well worth the investment! UPDATE Oct 15: Still works great. Clean it regularly and replace those charcoal pads regularly and it really helps any smell leakage. You can find larger charcoal pads and cut them down to size and stuff them in the drawer; doesn't have to be the brand ones. Much more cost effective. Still 5/5. Buying another soon!

This product is defective, the customer support is very poor. The box stopped working and after multiple attempts to get support it is just not working. The sensors are not working as expected and nobody knows how to fix it.
