WolfWise UPF 50+ Easy Pop Up Beach Sun Shelter Tent Portable

This was such a great buy! We had a recent baby and went down to wales and needed a windproof tent for protection. This was very easy to take out and my partner looked at the instructions a few times and simple to put back in. Comes in a great bag that you can carry on your shoulders and there is space to even put in a blanket which we did. Protected us from the wind & provided shade. Great size for 2 adults & 1 child. But can be used to even just put your items in. Great material and can even close the sides easily. Worth every penny

I love this beach shelter. It’s easy to put up, just take it out of the bag and it pops up on its own, make sure you hold it at arms length or throw it on the floor when you undo it from the bag because it pops up with a bit of force. I like that it’s got a front and back opening. If you want a bit of shade but still want a breeze, the front and back opening will accommodate that. The side windows have mesh for ventilation too and also has material that rolls down for privacy so that you can use the shelter to get changed in. It’s obviously not big enough to stand up in but you can sit in it and get changed. It has sandbags on the outside which are much easier to empty than other tents/shelters we’ve had. We’ve owned shelters that have fibreglass poles, despite following the instructions and being very careful, the poles split. Those shelters were also a pain to put up and dismantle especially if there was a breeze. Before using it, watch YouTube videos about putting it down (the instructions that come with it might leave you confused, I was!) but after watching the video and practising it’s so simple. I made sure I put it up and put it away a few times at home so that I wouldn’t look like an idiot in the beach 😂

Bought for our recent holiday to Cornwall to keep young kids shaded when required. 1st use was great, excellent tent. Easy to set up and pack away (once practiced without wind!). We got the large version, and plenty of room, we even put the babies pushchair inside and plenty of space for a couple of people too. Unfortunately on our 2nd days use, in maybe slightly above average windy conditions one of the flat metal bars flexed and bent the wrong way, causing the tent to collapse on one side. This made it almost impossible to fold away again. Now the tent will not stay upright so quite disappointed with the quality. *UPDATE 13/8/23* After leaving this review the seller contacted me and have supplied a replacement tent, fantastic customer service so I’d recommend this item for sure now

This tent pops up easily (as others do), but this one is much easier to pack away than another one I have tried. It sometimes takes a couple of goes to pack away... I wouldn't force the wires when trying - just start again from scratch. I like the pouches for sand/stones etc.. it has been quite sturdy. These are better than using the pegs. I like the fact that it can be completely enclosed for privacy when changing.. or open to allow a through breeze. An excellent purchase, and used approx. 10 times so far with no issues at all. Edit: (after 1 year's use).. don't get salt water on the zips, it has corroded the metal badly.. (see the photos).. apart from that, it still pops up fine, but it's slightly more difficult to put away. Edit (after another week): I contacted Wolfwise re: the issue I've mentioned above, and they sent me a replacement tent. Excellent customer service!

Recently purchased this pop up tent and used it on our seaside holiday. It is fantastic! Take it out of the bag, undo elastic and it's up! I got the large size as we have 3 dogs and a large family. Great so the dogs and anyone else don't get overheated and can have breaks in the shade. 4 bags are attached and take 2 minutes to fill with sand and another 4 bags on guy liness you can also attach if necessary. Great space to keep drinks, towels, bags and extra items safe and sand free while digging in the sand. Perfect for changing in when all zipped up and window covers down. Seems really good quality. The folding instructions are attached to the bag and look a bit complicated but once I got to step 3 I found the tent naturally seems to collapse into its circular form and tuck in excess fabric, elastic on and zip it in the bag. I walked to the beach twice carrying it over my shoulder with straps on the bag. The bag is a surprisingly small, neat, manageable size. Will use this over and over again. Highly recommend!

So easy to put up, used it in the garden on a sunny day so myself & my four month old could sit outside in the garden but protected from the sun’s UV rays. It popped open and I pinned it down with four pegs as it was a bit windy. While we were inside it did blow about a wee bit so maybe helpful to weigh it down with blankets or items right in at the sides. I love that there are windows you can just roll the fabric up and secure with the little clips, this allowed us to get more light inside and a breeze. I love that you can open up both ends or just one, so you can have a bit of privacy for changing if you decided to take it to the beach etc. I’m not sure if it’s waterproof at the bottom, our grass was a bit damp from the day before and i did wonder if I could feel it a bit while sitting, so maybe don’t put it down on grass that’s wet. I was a bit unsure about how I’d get it down after some of the reviews, but i looked at the illustrations and managed it first time without much hassle. So overall I’m really happy with my purchase, I think it was money well spent and we’ll get plenty of use out of it. Size wise, you can definitely get a few adults seated and we had our baby seated inside and the dog lay just outside on the folded down door front.

I just got this tent and opened it up and folded it back down about 8 times with ease by carefully reading and following the instructions that come with it. I haven't taken it to the beach yet, but I will be sure to update if I have any negative experience. So far, it seems fantástic. Many people have said they had trouble getting it closed/folded, which is understandable. It has to be done in a very specific way, and apparently it is very easy to get twisted up if you do it wrong. It is implied on the packaging that the company has updated their instructions, and I found it very easy to fold it up and do it repeatedly and consistently by following the KEY STEPS below. Feel free to switch "left" and "right" in the instructions below. I don't think that would matter. - On step 3 in the instructions, it says to put your right foot on the tent in "position 2." FOOT PLACEMENT IS KEY. Put your right foot on the tent with your toes just below/on the bottom edge of the window. So when you bend the tent and bring the top tip down to "position 2" (also in step 3 of the instructions), the top tip of the tent should be right at that bottom edge of the window. When you kneel down to do this, your LEFT KNEE SHOULD STAY ON THE TENT to prevent it from starting to fold up. - As you perform step 3 as described above and bend "position 1" down to "position 2," do NOT allow the tent to start to twist. Hold the top tip of the tent ("position 1") firmly in place at the middle of the bottom edge of the window WITHOUT allowing the tent to twist asymmetrically as it kind of wants to do. - Once you finish step 3, you should be holding the top tip of the tent (AKA "position 1" from the instructions) down with the toes of your right foot. The left and right sides of the tent will naturally want to fold upward but your left knee is impeding it from happening. Lift your knee and just LET THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE FOLD UPWARDS HOW THEY NATURALLY WANT TO. - Then you just have to give it a little help to fold up how it naturally wants to. One side of the tent has to go over the other side. I've been going left over right but it seems you could go either way. The only other KEY POINT I can think of is that, when you fold one side over the other, the two sides do NOT fold up in the exact same way. The side that goes under (so the right side in my case) seems to twist around an extra time or something. It's hard to describe, but as long as you continue to just guide it to fold up how it naturally wants to, it seems to work fine. Just be aware that the under side (right side for me) will fold up like an extra twist or something so it feels wrong but it's ok and as long as it folds down to a circle, you'll know you did it right. I hope this is helpful. I'm super pumped to have shade on any beach without an annoying umbrella setup/take down process. I will update this review if I have any particularly negative experience at the beach, but if I haven't done that, you can assume that it was at least pretty good. Cheers!

Presa prima di andare due settimane al mare, abituato ai classici ombrelloni ho voluto provare un questa tenda, nonostante qualche recensione di persone che non sono riuscite a chiuderla. Fatto una prova a casa e tutto ok, poi per 14 giorni portata in spiaggia, la comodità di aprirla in un secondo e chiuderla in dieci secondi è stato comodissimo, vedendo in spiaggia altri tipi di tende dove ci mettevano venti minuti a montare quelle classiche e altrettanti minuti a chiuderla se non di più. Mai avuto un problema nel chiuderla, consiglio di lasciare le porte laterali aperte a metà così l'aria esce comodamente e si chiude praticamente da sola. Preso il modello grande, abbiamo mangiato all'interno in due adulti e due bambini, comodo poter lasciare sempre all'ombra la borsa frigo e altre cose, oltre al poter cambiarsi in completa privacy. Regge molto bene al vento. Non ho usato i sacchetti da riempire con sabbia ma semplicemente messo sugli angoli le borse che portavamo in spiaggia. Chi si lamenta della chiusura probabilmente non ha guardato i vari video che spiegano benissimo come chiuderla, è davvero un'operazione veloce e automatica. La consiglio di vivamente per la praticità.

High quality but challenging to fold in the wind

Ich möchte mit meinem Kleinen gerne ins Freibad oder an den Fluss, natürlich muss man da ein bisschen vorbereitet sein. Die Strandmuschel ist dafür bestens geeignet. Überzeugt hat mich in erster Linie der Sonnenschutz, die rundherum angebrachten Öffnungen, sowie das unkomplizierte Auf- und Abbauen. Ich kann dies als Frau allein binnen einer Minute erledigen. Die von anderen Rezensenten beschriebenen Probleme dabei kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Mit dieser Muschel kann ich meinem Baby überall eine gewohnte Umgebung schaffen. Praktisch finde ich auch, dass man die Zelttasche wie einen Rucksack konstruiert hat, so hat Mama immer beide Hände frei 😊 Das Zelt ist leicht, toll verarbeitet und die Garantiezeit beträgt zwei Jahre.
