Blown Away
The one star reviews here absolutely astonish me. None of them focus on any aspects of the gameplay. One just moans about the loot boxes, one moans about having to download an update and the other one is just some gibberish about GT Sport on the PS4 being better, despite the fact that at the time of this review its not even available to buy! The visuals in this game as simply beautiful. I always use the cockpit view for a bit of added realism and also because i feel i can judge corners and braking zones better and as ever in Forza, the cockpit visuals are incredibly detailed. From driving in the rain and having water lash off your windscreen, to driving at dusk and the low sun reflecting off the interior of the car, the visuals are breathtaking and the game runs very smoothly during races. I should note that I am playing this on an original Xbox One with a 1080p TV, so I can only imagine how good this is going to be on the One X with a 4K TV. It's almost enough to make me want to get one, but I can't justify it at £450 (plus the 4K TV on top of that). Maybe if the Xbox One had more exclusives.....blah blah blah that's another story for another day. Gameplay wise, Turn 10 have basically refined the fantastic job they did with Forza 6. The car physics just feel right to me and the general handling is very responsive. I play with the pad as well, so having this level of responsiveness is impressive. As always, you can adjust assists in the menu to your taste. One area that is massively improved is driving in the wet. Wet racing was introduced in Forza 6 and was done reasonably well, however I always had a problem with standing water and when you hit it, 9 times out of 10 it would throw you off. This is much more refined in Forza 7 and the physics are much better. A race can now change from dry to wet and you have to adjust your driving style to adapt to the changing conditions, e.g. braking earlier for corners etc. Forza 7 again uses drivatars for AI, which was first introduced in Forza 5 (?) and for those that don't know, the 'drivatar' system uses data from Forza 7 players on how they drive round the tracks and how aggressive they are. It's a wonderful system and really feels like you're racing against human opponents as they do race you and each other fairly hard (depending on the difficulty you set) and they also make mistakes and crash. This is so much better than other racing games where the AI sticks almost exclusively to the racing line. So far i've mainly stuck to career mode, where it guides you through various events and showcase events all the way to the ultimate aim of winning the Forza cup. As always you can go into the main menu and play any race/event you wish, providing you have the car to do so. You level up and earn credits as you always did in Forza. There are now loot boxes that you can buy with your credits, which contain mods, driver suits and cars. These are drawn randomly. Here is what the 1 star reviewers are moaning about, saying it opens the door for Turn 10 to introduce micro transactions to buy credits to open loot boxes. Well this isn't the case at the moment and if it does happen, so what. If you're so against it, don't buy any. I certainly won't be. I've paid my £40 and there is plenty game here for me to enjoy without spending any more. I've played several other games with 'loot boxes' a la Call fo Duty, Battlefield etc and never felt the need to pay for these and still enjoyed the game. You can still purchase the cars you want, provided you have the credits as you always could in Forza. ONE WORD OF WARNING - there is a 30GB(ish) download and as usual for the Xbox One the game itself takes a while to install, so be prepared to wait for a while after you fire the disk in for the first time. But I can honestly say it's worth the wait. You can play the game once it's installed, it just means that some of the events will be locked until the update is fully downloaded and installed. In summary then, this game has a ton to offer. If you've played and liked Forza in the past then you will be right at home. Newcomers who are looking for a racing game are in for a real treat and you certainly can't go far wrong here. I'll be honest and say i'm a PS4 man, and my Xbox is mainly used for Forza and Halo, but I will say this - On this showing, GT Sport on the PS4 has a hell of a lot to live up to.

Cracking game...awesome and dynamic
Wow, I am seriously loving this game. I wasn’t overly fussed with the 5th and 6th versions. They were ok. But Forza7 for me hits the right spot. It’s an awesome game, with lots of tracks and tons of cars to work towards. Some of the old F1 legends cars are incredible fun to drive and couple the game with a steering wheel and bam, a great driving experience. I really like all the open wheel cars in the game but there are a lot of different and most awesome race cars and road cars to choose from. The weather system is amazing, You might start out in a race with some sun and a bit of cloud, after a few laps it can all change and it’s pouring with rain. I really like this dynamic approach to the weather. Trees and such still look a bit flat, I imagine one day they will be blowing in the wind as you race by and to be fair as you are tearing down the long straight coming into the curve parabolica in Monza I doubt you need trees to be so graphically amazing when you should be concentrating on the road anyway, they just add a nice dimension in the peripheral view. One thing that really blows me away is coming into the Nurburgring F1 pit straight in full wet weather. The lights of the buildings are so realistic and I’m only playing this on a standard Xbox. Must be awesome on a Xbox X with a 4K tv. Personal opinion is this game rocks and I would recommend it for sure if you like the Forza games.

A welcome evolution, of Forza Motorsport.
For those who played Forza Motorsport 6, didn't get any DLC, and want a different Forza experience, this game is well worth it. Coming with all the DLC FM6 had, as standard on the disc. If you got some or all of the DLC for FM6, then it's a tricky one. You'll still get a somewhat different experience, along with some new tracks, cars etc. I personally have both the expansions for FM6, and got this on the cheap. It's worth it for me, but I'm not you. If you haven't played a Forza since 5 or earlier, then I recommend it fully. It's miles better than FM5 was, and is still getting supported to further improvement. I did however have some issues with performance and stability. Occasional frame rate lag moments, rare game crashes, and a section of my career mode not loading. Minor issues for me, and not commonplace for anyone.

Forza Motorsport 7 (xbox one / xbox one x)
Forza Motorsport 7 is a huge step forward in the graphics and gameplay department. You get to drive more than 700 cars, and the way you are expected to unlock them is sheer genius in my opinion. I like how the tracks now have speaker playing music, and the fact that it can be raining on one part of the track and not the other. Racing online is huge fun but where are the drifting lobbies, while that is a setback let's be honest here that isn't going to prevent me from enjoying this game. Edit: Really Amazon you need to remove the reviews that don't have verified purchase by them, because half the time they only review games they haven't got.

My Favorite Forza Motorsport Yet
I have been playing Forza ever since Forza Motorsport 2, and I am definately not disappointed with this latest release. While it did take me a little bit of time to get used to the new home screen, I was soon able to get into the racing itself. I definately like the updated recaing mechanics because it makes the game that little bit more realistic, you can see the wiper blades and exhaust pipe/pipes move when racing. I know this is only a small feature change but it makes the game that little bit more realistic and I like it. I definately do recommend Forza 7 to anyone who has a passion for racing simulators.

Game was everything I expected and more. I received about 29 cars as a loyalty reward for owning Forza 6 and Horizon 3 and 4. So many types of races to choose from and the graphics are out of this world.

Klare Kauf Empfehlung
