I just bought this dog repellent and it does not work. The neighbor's vicious dog just frolicking in my front yard and this product just won't kick in. I set it to the highest position and nothing happens. Not happy, want to kick or shoot that dog. I cannot believe in today's technology we cannot come up with a foolproof dog repellent that works rain or shine. We can put a man on the moon but with vicious dogs, we are helpless in the XXIst century.

I returned the first one because I didn't understand the instructions. I think it WAS working. Here's what you need to know: The sensor on the front turns red when it detects the presence of a body. Use that to set the sensitivity because the first 3 frequency settings are inaudible so you won't know if it's working or not, nor where to set the sensitivity knob. Use the light turning red to tell you when it detects. . The fourth frequency setting does not emit an inaudible high frequency sound at all but rather flashes a strobe light and makes a high pitched yelp that you can hear. You might think it will never stop after you activate it with the warmth of your body, but after 15 seconds it will stop. Be patient. Point it at a wall and cover your ears until it's done. Also, I can't tell when it's fully charged from a USB charger before putting it outside in the sun.. Good news: far no new squirrel pee trails on the siding from squirrels.

Two worked right out of the box. The third unit would not work and they immediately replaced the defective unit in 24 hours. Great Customer Service.

Installed immediately and set up was simple. Didn't have long enough to check for weatherproof claim. Tried on neighbors' barking dog in front of his nose at knot hole in fence and it had no effect at all! Set up to keep cats off lawn and in 2 days kept getting new mounds of cat poop a few feet in front of device! Tried several settings on unit, but no difference was noticed. Might work on other animals, but didn't work for the ones I needed to handle!

I purchased this because I had squirrels on my roof eating through it. First couple hours after placing this pointed in the direction they were accessing the roof, they stopped retreated and have not come back.

I was so hoping that this would work to help deter the feral cats away from our yard. As you can see, the cat is laying right next to it unfazed. This was after the alarm went off. It turned around and layed right next to it! The alarm is not very loud. I do not recommend this product.

It seems to be doing a good job. It will come on if I walk past it.
