UPDATE 9/22/22: I purchased a second opener for our house to have the extra opener for an emergency. This is a great buy because some lift master and compatible garage door openers are sold for $30. This opener cost less than $7 when I purchased both times and they work! Original review: I needed a replacement garage door remote asap that was affordable. The remote came with the battery installed so all I had to do was program it to the opener. It took seconds to do. The big box hardware stores and Amazon had more expensive liftmaster replacement remotes but this one works perfect! We plan to order another one when we do another Amazon purchase (as long as we remember) to have an extra remote on hand. It's only been used for a week and no problems so far. Great buy that works!

Figured I would give it a try since it was a cheaper product. Just wanted a spare remote for kids or neighbors. Got it tried to post it and no luck. No matter what I did would not work. Went to big box and bought one and it worked first try using same steps so wasn’t me or the opener.
