Small and quiet
Great small dehumidifier, does the job, hardly any noise, would recommend,

Does the job
I got this after a couple of incidents that required a dehumidifier. I got a loan of a friends one for drying me out, they have a big one that cost more than £200 and it does an excellent job, pulls a ridiculous amount of water out. Thought it was time I got my own one. Compared to that this thing doesn't compare obviously, it’s around a quarter of the size and quarter of the price, however put it to work and leave it doing its thing and slowly the tank begins to fill. I would say it’s better suited to something to help a damp area rather than an emergency drier outer. Loses a star as despite the description stating “whisper quiet” it isn’t. I mean it isn’t loud noisy just a motor whirring kind of noise but being in the same room as it would be annoying. I have an entry stairway in my flat that doesn’t have a radiator so it can get a bit damp in the winter, carpet gets wet with soggy shoes and never dries properly kind of thing, so I just leave this thing running now and again, it sucks out some water, window seems to have less condensation and no mouldy parts appearing on the walls so it seems to be doing the job. In summary it’s a dehumidifier, it dehumidifies but don’t go expecting to be amazed by the amount of water it can extract, for that you will need to spend a bit more money. It’s a bit noisy, you certainly wouldn’t want to have it in your bedroom. But for the price it does a decent job.

Small, quiet and effective
Really good size as it doesn't take over the room. It's really quiet and you hardly notice it working but the results are clear. Lots of water collected. Excellent value for money.

Warning: Fire Hazard.
I bought this at the end of November 2016 for our dining room as the kitchen adjoins it and we hoped it would reduce the condensation on the UPVC French windows overnight. We only use it in for some of the winter months and then it is cleaned up and stored in the cupboard under the stairs. So we only used it Nov, Dec, 2016 and Jan, Feb 2017 AND same 2017/18. We got it out the other day to put in into as the condensation is starting to build up....and I am pretty shocked quite frankly. Well shocked doesn't begin to describe it actually. We switch the unit on overnight - from about midnight to 6am - and then turn it off when we get up, and it's off for the rest of the day. Well that's what we did last year. However, the first night we put it I went to bed but two hours later came down for some water and I could smell burning immediately as I opened the living room door. Strong smell. Lights went on, walked through to back room (dining room) and could see smoke coming from the dehumidifier. I immediately yanked the plug out. You can see from the images that the plastic cover inside was burning and the on/of circuit board switch is totally burnt out and the wire burnt and detached. So my wife and I are left wondering what may have happened if I hadn't gone down for more water. I very rarely do! I cannot find a way of getting hold of the company that sold this to me through Amazon so I am posting this warning here. This is the Pro Breeze with the black power block sold by One Retail Group through Amazon. I looked through the reviews and have noticed someone else's caught fire as well. --update 28/11/2018 After scouring every review for this product, and the comments, I eventually found a contact email for someone at One Retail Group...so I used that address to report this issue. I was contacted within 48 hours by someone at One Retail Group and then offered a refund or replacement. I was initially set on a refund but instead asked for a replacement on the condition that they were sure that the products were safe now. A replacement product was promptly dispatched and I received it 48 hours later, so I took that to mean that they were absolutely sure it was safe now. For your information: the replacement looks EXACTLY the same as the first one, EXCEPT for one very important difference: it does NOT have a big black power block. Instead the unit has a power lead and that it plugs directly into the mains. So I am guessing that the absence of the big power block is pointing towards the power block being the issue. Indeed, on refection, I do recall touching the block once and it felt very hot. And, looking through the reviews here I can see a good number of photos of melted power blocks and reports of the block not working. It is important to me that I provide a fair and balanced review. On that basis, I will say that I am very pleased that this company - once I had uncovered a contact email for them - responded quickly and professionally to my email to report this problem. They dealt with the matter without any nonsense or hesitation, and the replacement product they sent out has been running for over 100 hours continuously and it isn't even warm: I chose to 'run it in' to make certain it was okay for my own peace of mind. It seems very clear that whatever problems the last 'version' had seem to have been eradicated in this version without the power block. My advice to anyone having any issues with this product is to contact the company directly. I contacted Ali Noori, the customer service contact using the email address [email protected]. They were very professional and accommodating and resolved the matter without any fuss. As a note, I do not feel it would be appropriate for me to remove my original review given the nature of what occurred. However, I do think it is entirely proper and fair to let people know how One Retail Group dealt with this issue when I contacted them and to especially highlight their professional response and readiness to resolve the issue quickly and without fuss.

Purchased in 2017 - Still going strong in 2020
I got this product as my bedroom was starting to acquire a mildew aroma that naturally, wasn't welcome. It looks cheap and tacky, but I didn't want to spend much money on a solution that might not work. Let's start by explaining what this item actual is. Inside this unit is a tiny refrigerator that cools down air brought in by a fan. The cooling air then condenses and water droplets form. This is the same way that condensation forms on your caravan window on a cold day and you have your heating on. This liquid is then collected in the lower tray while the air, slightly colder and drier than before, is ejected back into the room. Taking the above into consideration this means there are two noticeable effects. The noise of the fan and the cooling of the air. As I let this machine run practically 24 hours I can attest that the noise is quiet and uniform, it took me a couple of days to adjust to the 'white-noise' effect of this machine running. I can say the noise is similar to a computer gently idling in an office. The cooling of the ejected air is barely noticeable and would likely be easily overwhelmed by natural room heat. I think it might be a couple of degrees change at the very most. Longevity: I have had two events that has resulted in this unit almost dying on me. I must add that it has not died, and is still doing its job now. The first incident was when I noticed the tray had stopped accumulating water. This was about 18 months after I purchased the unit. After a brief inspection I noticed the vents were filled with dust. Using a stiff paint brush I cleared the vents and air could now get into the machine. The second incident was a few days ago. I woke up to find the machine sitting in a pool of water. Again, a further inspection revealed there was a fluff blockage where the water leaves the unit and enters the reservoir tray. Upon removing the offending fluff, I then placed the unit on a rack and let it run for 24 hours. The unit has performed fine since and has returned to my bedside. Please note that none of the inspections and fixes involved removing any screws or components other than the user removable reservoir tray. All maintenance was done with a brush or fingers and ensuring that it was isolated from the electrical supply before doing so. Conclusions: This will be fine for a small room such as a caravan or medium sized bedroom. Keep the unit clean and dust-free and it will look and last for a while. I recommend putting it on an absorbent cloth in case the machine does develop a fault. If you want something you can plug in and leave, then buy something more expensive. This is cheap and will need a bit of attention from time to time. It can be independently turned off and the green LED can be covered over with a little sticker or blu-tack if it bothers you at night. Secondly, I was not paid to write this review and I did not receive the unit for free. I had forgotten how much I paid for the unit and looked it up on Amazon. £36.99. It's a great little unit that is the size of a lunchbox. Easily portable enough to take on caravan holiday. EDIT - The unit died on 18/06/2020. It was full and the yellow light came on. When I replaced the water reservoir, the green light started to flash. This indicates, according to the manual, that it is not working (Yeah... Thanks manual).

Arrivato con nastro adesivo che teneva la scatola evidentemente già aperta e anche l'articolo dava l'impressione di essere stato quanto meno esposto o comunque disimballato

Not bad for the price. You will need to go bigger and pay more if you need a quicker result or alot of moisture in your camper van. But overall... happy.

C'est déjà le deuxième que j’achète. Techno simple et fiable (module Peltier) fonctionnement assez silencieux...Le seul Hic est que j'aurai souhaité une prise secteur de "chez nous" et pas une britanique !

I am quite impressed - it's a small, light machine - since I have plugged it in 1hr ago already collected quite some moisture! I have a 1bedroom flat and I think it will be enough. For better efficiency- I close the room where it's working. It's quiet in my opinion - good quality built. It is dramatically missing a handle or a way to easily grab it. I definitely recommend it.
