These bookends are great! I've had them before and this is a repeat purchase. They are very clear and have 4 little feet on the base. I put glue dots on the feet and the bookends do not move. Everything is nice and sturdy. They come well wrapped so they are not scratched. I put them in the children's section of my Little Library in the garden. They've been in there for months, all throughout winter with no problems. The first two are on shelf 1 and 2 on the right hand side of each shelf. I've been getting a little water ingress during very heavy rain and am trying all sorts to figure out where it's coming from, slowly improving. (Next step, re-seal and re-paint the whole thing). In the meantime, there can occasionally be a small trickle down the edge of shelf 1 and 2 so I've put a bookend on the right hand side of those shelves to protect the books from water damage (it works) and then it runs into a little trip tray attached to the underside of shelf 2 (a Ferrero Rocher lid LOL). I love that they are so unobtrusive. My next requirement was a square basket for the Mr Men books on the top right shelf. The basket I was using was the wrong size. I've been looking for ages but couldn't find anything of the size I needed. Then I remembered the book ends. The shelf is very deep so I've put the two bookends in front of each other to form a tiny shelf with room for the bookmarks beside it. Now I can fit more than 5 Mr Men books in at a time so I'm super happy. A simple solution. They are also cheaper than a basket and a great value for money.

These do the job without fuss, they are functional, not that they are unattractive, but if you are looking for wow factor and a statement on your bookshelf, look elsewhere. These stop books falling off the end and are very good at doing it. They are shiny, white plastic, which seems tough enough, with silicon studs on the base to prevent slippage and, obvious from the pictures on the Amazon page, rely on the weight of books on the foot to hold the end upright. I needed them after a new boiler was fitted and a cabinet around the smaller old boiler was removed. The cabinet had acted as the end of two shelves, so this pair of bookends took the place of the cabinet wall to prevent books leaning over on to the boiler. The are doing a fine job. They are unobtrusive in my setting but even if they were on clear view would not look out of place. At the price they are a bargain, cheaper than any other bookend on Amazon, seem good quality, look fine, and, most important, they work.

Bought these to make more room in our book case, by placing them on top. They are simple but do the job. I noticed some buyers have the book ends with the bottoms facing out. We have ours facing in, so you can place the books on the bases which helps weigh them down. The little rubber feet stop them moving, but the weight of the books will help do this even more. Great price, ideal for what we wanted.

Very good quality and value. Neat, unobtrusive, sturdy, capable of handling much larger books than one might think - helped, I think, by the neat little slip-free feet. Definitely would buy again and recommend to pals.

Love these and bought extra ones again-everyone has-so buy extras!. They look fab and are strong. Medium size is fine to support all A4 files (see photo)/CDs and books. They are almost same size as a CD case on the smallest side. The Anti slip buttons are so anti slip it’s a bit awkward to move bookend out and back in again-you have to lift the end books up to push it in place but that is why they support so well and stay in place of course! I recommend these as they look fab.

These slim line book ends work equally well with books against either side, but I like the fact I can use books to hold them in place.

One sheared in two, but overall work fine if you don't put too much pressure on them.

ho scelto questo prodotto poichè volevo dei fermalibri molto essenziali, robusti e che non davano troppo nell' occhio. questi sono perfetti: tengono bene i libri anche pesanti ed alti, i piedini in silicone impediscono che il fermalibro scivoli sulla mia scrivania di acciaio. il profilo è sottile e poi, essendo trasparente, non si nota affatto. super contenta e problema risolto. spedizione veloce ed il prodotto era imballato perfettamente.

Perfect to store your books or even videogames / movies etc. It has a really nice greenish glass look which is not common to find and i love them.
