Prefect Present for a adult Harry Potter fan!
It is fair to say you cannot ignore the ongoing 'Adult colouring in' craze at the moment, it intrigues me greatly, I, like many others, I'm sure, have tried to ignore it, but it is easier said than done. However since the build up to the Christmas period it definitely played in my favour, it turns out these books make the ideal Christmas present for all adults of all ages. I brought this Harry Potter adult colouring in themed book to gave as a secret Santa Christmas present for my Harry Potter fan, sixteen year old, art student Saturday girl work colleague. We work together in a toy shop and sell a range of colouring in books for very young children and those older children, through this work we already knew there were many a adult who brought colouring in books for themselves before this craze 'Got big'! (With the introduction of Adult Colouring books it now allows these people to buy these books with pride!) We had previously discussed the power of 'colouring in' and how it makes a great distraction from the 'real world' and creates a sense of calm and mindfulness. Since receiving this gift she has reported back on how it has been fantastic relaxation tool for her and maybe too much of a distraction from her 'real art' work and a little bit addictive and not wanting to stop and 'must finish each page'! She loved it, and still talks about it now (feb)! She love the characters pages and especially the 'poster style' designs. As a non Harry Potter fan I thought it looked really attractive both on the inside and out and the illustrations are of great detail and the pages (paper) are great quality. I have seen this book in many other retailers but at the time of purchase it was a great price too compared to those over the Christmas period. I would recommend this book to any Harry Potter fan of any age and even those who are not as familiar with the books/films. I am very pleased with my purchase a will definitely look into to buying others for myself and other friends.

Excellent buy for colouring and Harry Potter fans.
Covers a range of characters, scenes and things from the Harry Potter world starting from the Dursley's House and ending with the Battle of Hogwarts. A nice mix of patterns, pictures of scenes from the films/books and pictures of artefacts to colour in. Paper quality is good for pencils. I colour in with pencils and have had no problems, but I imagine that heavy felt tip use would bleed through. There are borders around some of the pictures which adds in small intricate spaces to colour, as well as larger spaces on the main pictures. The pictures are easy to recognize from the films/books. I like the fact that the Triwizard Tournament and those schools have been included, not just pictures of the main characters. Obviously there are a quite a few pictures of Harry, Hermoine and Ron in the book, but also some of the Hogwart's teachers, Hagrid, Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, students and more. There are also, wands, a sneakoscope, creatures such as Fawkes the phoenix and Dobby to colour in. Overall, an excellent colouring book. If you are into adult colouring books and Harry Potter you must buy this!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Aw hell this is a beautiful book! Totally stunning illustrations from the Harry Potter films for you to colour in. Each image is beautifully illustrated and in a world where adult colouring books are filled with flowers and geometric shapes, this is a refreshing change! I purchased this for my friends daughter for Christmas as she is a mega Harry Potter fan and she simply loved it! I didn't let it go before having a little look through it myself though. The cover is white and gold and looks precious and vintage. It is a paper back book but is very sturdy. The images range from characters to different environments within the books and films. It truly is a gorgeous book and any fan, big or small would love it. I think I will be buying one for myself at some point in the future! You definitely need some decent colouring pencils/ pens for this one! Colouring is the new glass of wine in the evening (for some anyway). It helps you to switch off from the stresses of the days whilst focusing your attention on something that is moldly productive. Over all an excellent book for a fan or just someone who wants to colour something different in.

Wizarding Fun For All Ages.
It's difficult not to notice the colouring craze that's captured both adults and childrens attention recently. I eventually caved and, as a massive Potter fan, this seemed an appropriate compromise. I fully didn't expect to love it as much as I do, but I can't leave it alone now! Filled with scenes from the movies and books, this colouring book is a fantastic relaxation tool for adults and fun activity for children. The pictures are much more detailed than I expected, meaning you can really get stuck in to a picture of your choosing whilst still feeling the challenge. There are also pages dedicated to house badges and popular characters and creatures throughout the series including Dobby the House-elf and Hedwig, Harry's trusty Owl. There are also useful images and film stills towards the back which aid as a reference for which colours you might want to use. As a fan though I loved them! I was sceptical about purchasing this because of the many reviews explaining the paper being too thin. I really didn't have that problem at all. Although I didn't attempt to use pens because the paper is quite silky, I don't think pens would look as attractive once you've finished because the detail is so fine. I also was worried it would leak through because of other reviews I'd read, with the pencils this really wasn't a problem. Definitely a fantastic product that I can't recommend enough to Harry Potter fans, colouring fans or just people looking to try out the colouring craze like I was. It's a guilty pleasure now; don't be ashamed! I'm not! Oh, and if you did love it, there's a Potter magical creatures colouring book on it's way in January!
