Best buy ever
This was my best buy in the whole of 2018! I just love this and I've just had it only over a week. If you need a GPS tracker - go for this one! Delivery was super-efficient as always, as was the packaging - thank you Amazon! Set up was pretty easy too - I used my own giffgaff sim card rather than the one supplied. Setting up the tracker was done in less than 10mins - it's really easy using either their website or app. I contacted Support to have the 1year free subscriptions activated - they responded within 24hrs. I have not hardwired it and my cig.lighter is in an awkward place so will not use it. It does not come with USB charging (support explained why via email) so for now, I have just placed it in my car fully charged but may need to either hardwire at some point. Some buyers suggested charging it via a power bank but as you cannot charge it via USB, not sure how this will be done. For now, I'll be charging it at home -after a week of use, the battery is still at 100% Having placed the tracker in my car, I totally forgot it's there the next day - only to be notified via email/app that a movement was detected - approx 2mins after I set off. I just love those notifications :-) may need to set up a separate email address dedicated purely for this as I am getting a lot of notifications in one trip but love the fact that you're notified where your car is - you can also track it live via the app. Cost-wise - it's not the cheapest tracker but definitely a quality one and so far reliable. The annual subscription is currently offered at £20/year which is still worth it - hopefully it will still cost the same once my free 1year expires. On top of the subscription you'll also have the sim/package cost - not sure how much this will be but planning £5/month. For this, you'll have a peace of mind that your precious car/bike/relative ... whoever/whatever... is protected and you know exactly where it is. All in all, I am really glad I opted for this tracker - there are a lot of other features you can use e..g cut off the engine remotely, see how much fuel is left etc - but it works great pretty much right our of the box. 100% recommend

Peace of mind
Having just bought a new car I wasn’t sure what the best ‘tracker’ options were. I did some research and saw the cost of fully installed options with their ongoing monthly subscriptions and whilst I could see the advantages both in technology, reliability etc, did I really need it at that price....... I did some more digging and came across the Spytrack Nano & Plus. The nano really needs to be hardwired in while the plus will give you months of use between charges. I went with the plus for the flexibility of sticking it in the car and charging it up every few weeks. No install cost, literally charge and go. It’s been in the car now a couple of months and it’s really an impressive bit of kit. To leverage it full power you need to spend some time on the Spytrack website configuring things inc zones and alarms, insert your email address etc. This is all simple enough and worth the time invested as it will take your unit to new levels. You do need a subscription to use the service but it’s way cheaper than others out there. If my car leaves my home zone I get a notification and email. If the car moves or is shaken (say it’s hit) again a notification and email. All of which can be muted and re enabled in the phone app or online. You can see where you’ve been or where the thief has taken your car. Accuracy seems really good from everything I have looked at. Multi story car parks and anything underground throw the signal out a bit but you would be close enough to go explore on foot if you were trying to find your baby. You can improve the accuracy by changing the reporting time to Spytrack. The default is every minute from memory but mines sat on 15 seconds. This does hit the battery life a bit but I think it’s worth it for the accuracy boost. My car comes out at weekends really and spends most of those weekends on trips around the uk. With reporting @ 15 sec intervals the battery is lasting around a month or so between charges which for me works a treat. Hiding it in the car was easy enough, the magnet holds it snugly in place in my chosen spot. It’s really hard to find fault, my only wish would be for longer battery life but that’s just me being lazy!

A very useful tracker with a lot of features
This is a great device, lots of useful features, some way beyond what I need as an individual. I found it fairly easy to set up, and although it is a little chunky, it has been possible to secrete it . So far it has worked with pinpoint accuracy tracking the location of my vehicle. I've been referring to it very regularly whilst getting used to it, but despite this the battery level is still above 90%. When I encountered a software problem with repeating alerts, customer service staff were promptly on hand to help resolve the issue. Only been using it for a week but so far very impressed, feel it has been value for money.

For peace of mind it is great
The unit itself works great, it is quite bulky but reasonably easy to hide, and the ability to hard wire it if using in a vehicle is great. The engine cut-off is not really that (not allowed in the UK for safety reasons) but just stops anyone restarting the vehicle again after it has already been turned off. It has some physical design 'flaws' though - I would not like to use it under or outside of a vehicle for instance. 1. The strong magnetic backing might be a strong magnet - but it's just a sheet of self adhesive magnet like the car sign people use - and it does not like sticking to the plastic unit. 2. The unit itself has no waterproof properties at all - especially if you use the supplied external GPS and GSM antennae. 3. A waterproof pouch is supplied - which is of good quality - unfortunately it is about 1" too small and you really have to stretch it to fit it over the unit and get it to seal properly - this is because of the 2 moulded tabs on the unit for screwing it down if you wished to, making it too long, and of course - using the external antennae again renders it useless. GPS Live on the PC is far too complex for most peoples needs, too many options are available for I imagine most users - ie the non commercial user who probably wants to know only if their pride and joy has been moved - and have the ability to find it again or see where it is going. It needs a 'simple' interface or an option to switch between simple or advanced maybe. The telephone app is far more intuitive - but you have to remember - if you set alarms or alerts or zones - that unless you disable them - should you move the vehicle or item yourself - you will get a text message telling you so - which is knocked off the quantity you paid for. Having said all that - I am happy with mine, as I have got it set up so its flaws are not an issue. **EDIT - the item shown for sale is an updated version of the one I gave my review for. I also have this new version - so here are the differences... It is not waterproof in the slightest - it has a label saying do not get wet... It comes with what Rewire describe as a waterproof pouch. - this equates to a ziplock bag, not a strong one - it would struggle to waterproof your sandwiches, Tesco's value range would be far superior - for this price they should be able to provide a waterproof case that is an actual waterproof case! It now has 2 ring shaped magnets on its base - not the magnetic sheet, they are strong. They will chip your car paint depending where you stick it... For those still using the old style incredible flimsy charger with a bodged on white plastic connector - just ditch this - it will break soon anyway. There is a USB port - supposedly for installing software / updates. Just plug in a USB charger from your pc, it will charge the device just fine from this port. It's set interval for reporting its position is long, I have yet to discover how to shorten its reporting interval.

Great product
I bought the Rewire Security 104N 4G GPS Tracker for my car, and I’m really impressed. The setup was easy, and the real-time tracking is spot on. The battery life lasts for days, which is a huge plus. I also love how versatile it is I’ve used it for both personal and business purposes, and it’s been perfect for tracking my vehicles. The magnetic design makes it super easy to attach anywhere. Overall, great product and a solid investment for anyone looking for reliable vehicle tracking.

Worst tracker for the worst price
There’s £25 trackers I’ve ordered that work better than this. Once you buy this product you are then forced into buying £40 subscription or else product doesn’t work. Also the thing is very inaccurate doesn’t show location history properly it will start for example in London going to Manchester but would show a straight line from london to Manchester, literally a straight line no location history at all the thing is all over the place. Every 60 second it update location!!!! And even then can’t do it properly. 4th tracker I’ve brought off these guys they always disappoint. Only good thing about them these are alright underneath a car other do get damaged due to rain etc. Best option if you've already brought one, buy a cheap one for £25 one that updates every 10seconds and actually keeps all history data, strip the inside out of this one and put the new ones parts into this. Awful tracker especially for the price £100? £25 for a 10 second update tracker and 7£ for the subscription and it works 100x better than these. Stay away from gpslive awful ill never use them again
