I have been taking these for the past two months and ordered more today as my supply is almost up. I chose this product as I am a vegetarian and there does not seem to be any ingredients derived from animals in there. That being said, nothing on the bottle states they are suitable for vegetarians/ vegans. They have helped a lot with my knee pain and given me the confidence to get back into sport. Although my knee pain still exists, it is 80% better today than it was two months ago, and so I am hopeful the pain will be non existent by the time the new supply finishes. The tablets are bigger than any I have ever had before, and initially daunting. However, I quickly got used to them, and they seem fine now. I've found they go down best straight after or whilst eating. I have read online that even after the pain has gone, continued intake of glucosamine supplements is necessary or the pain will come back. Therefore keep in mind taking this product will cost you approximately £170 a year.

Bought these after my mum recommended them. She has Arthritis and I have Osteoarthritis. It is difficult to be definite for sure, but after about 4 weeks I have seen some improvement. With that said, I am going to stick to these and hope to see much more improvement. Like anything else, I try and keep mobile to also help with the symptoms. The tablets are quite large and as I am useless with large tablets, I break it down to six pieces to make it easier to swallow.

I have to say I didn't appreciate how much difference these made until I stopped taking them. I have severe arthritis in my knees caused by Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and recently after years of taking these I decided to switch to Green Lipped Mussel as I wasn't sure these were doing anything. Boy was I wrong! Since I stopped taking them my knee pain has been ferocious and walking has been harder than ever. I have literally not been able to sleep through the pain, which is bad news. I am going back on them again as while I was still in pain it was nothing like the pain I've had since I stopped. Solgar products are always great quality too so would highly recommend these.

The bottle I got had different dose instructions compared to the ones on the listing. Says to take 1 a day, which I was planning to do anyway. Will last 4 months and it's high strength, good value. Tablets are larger than other but not a problem for me.

These tablets are huge, they are almost impossible to swallow without discomfort in my throat, or requiring multiple gulps of liquid. They are wide and long, and also have squared off (rather than rounded) edges, thereby increasing the discomfort in swallowing them. What’s the point of a supplement you dread taking and can’t swallow without discomfort. I feel them still in my gullet long after taking them. I’ve tried chopping them into smaller pieces but they are still uncomfortable to swallow, as the sharp edges are then increased. My only option is to either bin (but they are extremely expensive), or to grind into a powder every time I take them; but I’m not sure if that will compromise the absorption. I won’t be buying again.

Tablets are huge and have to be crushed which isnt to pleasant. An unusual mistake by Solgar as they have excellent products. The quality is good just the size of tablet.

In the past, I tried a well known product that was made from shrimp, crab, crayfish shells, all things I can eat without issue. My allergies are with mollusks including clams, mussels, and scallops. Well, I reacted with migraines so even though it was not listed as containing mollusks, they were present. After a bit of searching, I came across this product from Solgar. It is a tad pricey but it is absolutely worth the cost. The bottles are glass which is novel but the product itself does not give me any negative reaction. They are large pills but not powdery or ill-tasting on the way down, a bonus if swallowed improperly. They do not irritate my stomach. I take two daily in one dose, typically near a mealtime. So far, it seems to be reducing arthritic joint pain a bit. At least I haven't noticed things getting worse. The goal for these pills is to act more as a preventative than a cure; they don't have to make me better but I hope to prevent further degeneration. My first bottle was a month's supply and I just ordered a two-month supply to continue the regimen.

Le flacon est gros. Il ne vient pas de france, l'étiquette est en Anglais. Néanmoins il était bien célé. La posologie recommandée est de 2 comprimés par jour. Ils ont la taille des comprimés de paracétamol dosés à 1000mg. D'aucuns diront qu'ils sont un peu gros. Je prend ces comprimés dans le cadre du traitement d'un syndrome femoro-patélaire au genou gauche et pour préserver le cartilage de mes articulations. Je pratique la course à pied. Après presque 2 mois de prise les résultats ne sont pas fulgurants. A voir avec le temps.

Es aun poco el tiempo de uso pero voy notando mejora en las articulaciones. Hay que dar algo más de margen para que el producto actúe.

J'ai essayé plusieurs labos proposant Chondroitine, Gluchosamine et MSN. Solgar reste le meilleur en terme de qualité, donc d'efficacité même si celle-ci reste différée. Un inconvénient majeur à prendre en compte dans le format des comprimés, ils sont très gros et très difficiles à avaler tels quels. J'ai donc pris le parti de les scinder en 3 ou 4 et même désormais de les mastiquer et avaler le tout avec un peu d'eau.
