Best strings set I’ve had
I love these strings well priced and you can really bend them. Don’t think I’ve ever broke one of these strings. Even after some pretty big bends like 12fret bend upto 15fret usually bends like that break strings but not these. I play a lot of Gilmour so it makes sense to use his strings also I have his pickups and basically built a copy of his red Strat from Remember that night. With the guitar I built finishing off with these strings and the effects setup folks have said I sound really good and actually sound like Gilmour. What can I say apart from excellent!

Best guitar strings I've used
I'm a regular, semi-pro player of Fender Stratocaster and other electric guitars, including Telecasters and Deans, and the GHS Gilmour Boomers are the best strings I've used. I have them on all of my Strats and a couple of other regularly used guitars. They are smooth and have a clean, bright tone, but with good bass response. They retain much of that sound even after long-term use of the same set. They are slow to degrade , and in the several years I have been using them, I have never had a single string break. Highly recommended. A good balance between strength/sturdiness and (as you would expect from a mixed set endorsed by Gilmour) ease of bending!

Beautiful strings
I've been using these strings for a number of years now. I absolutely love them for there tone and the way hey play. You play softly and lovely clean sounds, and when you play harder you get wonderful attack. It makes my guitars sound louder. I just love them wouldn't change brand.

Good once settled in
Great strings great tone but I would give them a few good wipe overs with a cloth before using as they ended up turning my finger ends grey. Once they settle though I am loving the tone from them. But I’m no expert

Great strings. Good balance for tone.
I have been a long time user (30+ years) of Earnie Ball 9's and absolutely love them - however I had to refit a guitar for a friend and they mentioned they wanted a slightly tighter feel to that of my guitars.I purchased these purely for the slightly heavier top/bottom E and - let's be honest - the great picture of Dave Gilmour on the packet :-)I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with these strings - fitted onto a Strat with active EMG pickets the brightness of these strings is gorgeous. Still easy to bend on the high strings, but with added tone and clarity especially on the lower strings/notes.I honestly didn't think the difference would be as noticeable as it was but this has definitely been an eye opener for me.Need to re-string a couple of my guitars in the next week - do I stick with the Earnie Balls or have I been converted...……….this is a tricky one!

Great strings, great delivery
Fabulous strings - always going to be a favourite set of mine. The paper packaging is a little flimsy on the outisde, but I've never had an experience with one of the string packages or the string itself being damaged. As for the strings themselves, they're a personal must have for me - they're very comfortable to play, get great tone, and are very easy to restring with (I use vintage-style tuners).Always going to be a must-have, absolutely fabulous strings. would recommend!

Good feel, but not long-lasting
These strings have noticeably corroded after just 2-3 weeks moderate playing (bout an hour a night). That might be standard with a lot of strings - but it's certainly a shorter life than D'addario 10s, which could last 3-6 months. They feel great - and the slightly lighter gauge on the unwound strings does make bending a little easier - but I don't think I'll be ordering them again.
