Good quality and simple to fit. No adjustment to fit my my 9" speakers cut out hole size 196mm. Good sound quality from the speakers, not sure if they improve the quality but allow air gap above the speakers while assisting contain sound transfer. Hope i never need to see if they work.Would recommend.

Not clear that the product is a single product and not a pair as the product picture suggests. So be aware.But a very good product.

The product is well made, provides sound insulation for the room above and is a well made. Additionally the customer service from Firetopper I received was second to none, simply a very responsive and customer centric organisation. Highly recommended on all counts.

Great product. Not only does it meet building regulations, it prevents dust from getting into the speaker. BUT... unlike me please read the small print. The picture suggests a pair. Not so. The price is for a single hood not two. That detail is easily overlooked. Therefore while unfair to criticise the product, the ‘ advertising ‘ could be a little more clear. To be fair to the supplier, it is stated a a single hood... but I wrongly concluded from the picture alone the price was for a pair. At £100 a pair of hoods there are cheaper versions available that meet the same building control regulations.

It did the job very well but quite expensive for the quantity of fabric used, fire retardant material must be very costly to warrant this price.

Terrible product. Horrible service. Avoid.

Need this as per regs if you are installing speakers in a celling.

Obviously add something from a firesafety perspective, however minor the risk. They do help a bit with noise transmission, but don't expect miracles on that front - you will still need to install comprehensive sound-proofing
