Klean Kanteen Unisex Outdoor Classic Water Bottle

This is the water bottle I use daily, when out and about or at the gym. At 800ml, it is a good capacity and will last a fair time. The stainless steel is great quality, and has lasted for the almost 2 years that I have been using it with only minor dents. The wide opening (not as wide as some of their other products) is great for adding ice cubes, and is easy to fill up and pour from. The steel doesn't add a taste to the water, and isn't too heavy (although it is heavier than aluminium or plastic equivalents). It is easy to clean, durable, and overall the best water bottle I have used so far.The sports cap that this comes with, if I were to rate it separately, would get a 4/5. This is because after about a year of use, the cap began to tear, although this was probably due to me biting down too hard when opening it (I had a similar issue with the Camelbak Podium water bottles, but they tore more easily than the cap on the Klean Kanteen). I have since replaced it with the bamboo cap and have had no issues since. The cap closes tight and does not leak, but can be a little difficult to open at times. However, I would prefer this to the bottle leaking so this is not an issue. This bottle isn't insulated, so if you're looking for something to keep liquids hot or cold then you may want to look at a different product.I would recommend this to anyone in need of a long-lasting, high quality water bottle!

What every traveler needs is a good water bottle to reduce throwing away plastic bottles and so after doing my research I found out about this bottle. This is a very good water bottle that is designed really well. It’s made from good strong solid materials and it looks beautiful and the 800ml (27oz) is the perfect size to have if you are a solo traveler. I’m quite impressed because so far, it doesn’t leak once the cap is screwed on tight and their are many other water bottles that leak through the cap. The cap is solid and strong. I bought the green sports cap 3.0 separately to have a spare cap for this bottle and the bottle looks very nice also with the green cap screwed on. Overall, so far, this is one of the best water bottles I’ve ever bought for traveling and I have a feeling that this water bottle will be very useful and will last for many many years so I think it’s a good investment for any solo traveler.

Overall this is a great product & ideal for the gym (I use mine in spin classes) as an alternative to bottled water.A couple of negatives though1. The sport cap is not watertight - even when the spout is firmly in the closed position there is a hole (to allow faster flow when drinking) that water leaks out of - I've actually now bought another kleen kanteen screw top lid that I put on this bottle when it's in my bag and i carry this sport cap separately, popping it on before a gym class.2. - the sport top can be noisy to drink from - not an issue in a noisy gym class, but a bit odd in a quieter office.

Nice handy size bottle that will presumably last me a long time.Shame that the lid leaks a bit through the breather plug.I splashed out on another type of lid for times when leaks must be avoided, but haven't put it on yet because this one is so handy for use when on the go.No need for any unscrewing, just one-handed operation (easy to pull out and close the spout with your teeth)In summary, it's a great bottle and the drinking spout/lid is good to use. The leaking can easily be prevented by a simple poke of the breather, but beware, if you forget to do this, it may leak when not completely upright.

Great quality drink bottle that looks good and should stand up to some abuse. The sports spout works well and doesn't leak when closed. It is so much nicer than a plastic or aluminum bottle. The wide opening makes it easy to clean and the bottle itself fits in most bottle holders. Because its made of stainless steel you can put just about any liquid in it. You can also chose alternative caps and replacement caps for it which is another plus point.

Fantastic water bottle. Both parts go in the dishwasher absolutely fine. It has a wide neck so it's easy to clean with a bottle brush, or normal washing up brush. I find the 800ml to be the ideal size for me too - I drink a lot of water during the day so I need a decent size water bottle. I used to have a sigg bottle and I bought the sport cap for that one years ago but it really didn't work because it didn't let air in when you were drinking the water. This cap design is MUCH better as it has a vent so as you drink the water air is allowed back into the bottle for a smooth water consumption experience. Fab product.

I was initially very happy with this item. However, after a few weeks of use, the bottle stinks like an old closet even after it has been hot washed w detergent. It also leaks from the valve if anywhere near full of tips beyond an angle of 70degs or so.Too often I've opened my bag to a swimming pool.Too many flaws to be usable. It's gone to the recycling bin I'm afraid.

Love the bottle, tough and doesn't taste of metal at all. Hate the cap, very difficult to open and close, and impossible for my son who I bought it for.
