Well designed, quality LED lamps
Having used other Auxbeam LED's previously with excellent results, I ordered these. They offer a magnifier over the working end & four LED strips at 90* from each other around the circumference. The fixture housing them has a chrome plated interior. These lamps, mounted horizontially, fire the magnified end directly to the rear while three of the circumferential strips illuminate the reflective interior. The fourth projects to the side. Combined with the increased brightness of LEDs, they provide a turn indicator with greater visibility to surrounding traffic. I expect them to last a long time, like other Auxbeam LED's I've used.

Very bright replacement
I bought these to upgrade the headlights on my garden tractor. They work great. I can now mow all night and annoy the neighbors. Very bright. Easy replacement.

NOT a 1157 dual filament bulb replacement option for 70s ford truck without some sort of trickery
Problem: These "plug-and-play" LED turn signal bulbs do not function correctly in older vehicles, specifically my 1979 Ford F-150. While the blinker flashes, the running light completely shuts off during the signal, which is a major safety and functional issue. Details: Installation was simple and seemed correct, with the bulbs fitting into the original sockets. The running lights worked normally until the turn signal was activated. When a turn signal was used, the running light on that side would completely turn off instead of alternating between running light and blinker. This is dangerous and makes the turn signals much less visible, especially at night. This is likely an electrical incompatibility issue with older vehicle systems that the product fails to address, despite being advertised as a simple installation. Conclusion: The bulbs are falsely advertised as a simple plug-and-play solution for a 1157 bulb replacement. For vintage truck owners, these are not a direct replacement and will require additional modifications, such as wiring in load resistors (which often get dangerously hot), to function properly. This is an unacceptable product for anyone expecting a straightforward install and safe operation.

Brightness as described
Product is an exact fit for a taillight on a DR Zed 400. The brightness of the tail lamp is as bright as a brake lamp and the brake lamp appears to be three times brighter than a standard brake bulb. For maximum effect ensure you use a red bulb behind a red lens, otherwise the light may look pink.

Huge Safety Upgrade for Brake Lights
I swapped my old halogen brake lights for these Auxbeam LEDs, and the difference in visibility is night and day. The Good: Projector Lens: Unlike cheap LEDs that just have chips on the sides, these have a glass projector lens on the tip. It shoots a focused beam straight back, making your brake lights significantly brighter to the driver behind you. Distinct Brightness: A common issue with LED 1157s is that the "running light" and "brake light" look the same brightness. These have a clear, sharp contrast—dim for running, blindingly bright for braking. Color: Deep, rich red. (Always use red LEDs behind red lenses; white LEDs make the lens look pink/washed out). Build: Solid aluminum body, feels heavy and dissipates heat well. Important Note: Size: These are longer than a standard halogen bulb because of the projector lens. If your tail light housing is very shallow (like on some older motorcycles or flat trailer lights), measure first to make sure the lens won't hit the plastic cover. Hyperflash: If you use these for turn signals, you might still get "hyperflash" (fast blinking) on some vehicles despite the "Canbus Ready" claim. You may need to add a load resistor. For brake lights, they are usually plug-and-play. One of the best safety upgrades you can do for under $30. They are instant-on, super bright, and look modern. Just check your housing clearance first.
